As soon as Qi Si steadied himself, he looked at his fishing rod, only to find that the hook which should have had a huge fish hanging from it was completely empty.
Everyone else wore equally baffled expressions.
"Did it get flung away?" Lin Weiwei asked suspiciously, scanning the area around them.
"No. It was already empty when we reeled it in," Bo Fuyu said with certainty.
Zhou Linzhe and Yang Yi looked just as confused.

At first, when she saw a tiny piece of something hanging on the hook, she thought it was bait the fish had not finished eating.
But when she looked closer, it turned out to be a piece of fish flesh pierced through by the hook!

They all crowded over to take a look.
"It really is fish flesh! Isn't this too absurd?" Lin Weiwei stared at the flesh on the hook in disbelief.
After seeing the piece of flesh that had been hooked off, Bo Fuyu and Zhou Linzhe shifted their attention to the fishing rod.
"This rod is pretty good quality," Bo Fuyu said.
