The blizzard affected more than just Winterfell; the residents of Winter Town, who had gathered outside the Winterfell, suffered just as much damage, if not more.

They had no hot springs, and even the city walls offered no shelter. To withstand the harsh winter, most of them hid south of Winterfell to protect themselves from the snowstorms from the north. But who could have imagined that the blizzard that night would blow from south to north?

Some elderly and frail civilians in the North froze to death.

Many of the younger and stronger men also suffered from frostbite. When they faced the pirates wielding short swords and scimitars, they didn't even have the strength to escape, let alone resist.

The man died under the cold blade, while the woman wailed beneath the thugs. The entire Winter Town seemed to have been dragged into hell.

Just as the pirates from the Iron Islands were in the midst of their raid, their leader gave the order for everyone to stop and retreat immediately.

This greatly angered the pirates, and many ignored orders and continued their looting on their own.

Although the North is vast and sparsely populated, they have stockpiled a considerable amount of food to prepare for the winter. It could be said that a significant portion of the North's wealth has been concentrated around Winterfell. How could they not plunder it thoroughly after their arduous journey through the frozen wasteland?

The Iron Islands thugs were unaware that their ship was trapped on the coast by thick ice, but Euron knew. Only after he used his authority as commander to kill a few men did the pirates suppress their discontent.

"I really don't know what he was thinking. He robbed a cripple and now he's going back?"

"Only one? None of the other Stark Eddard daughters have been found?"

Although the pirates were forced to give up their hard-earned wealth under Euron's tyranny, they were not polite in private.

Listening to the Iron Islands soldiers' complaints, Sawane Botley quickly ordered them to shut up.

He believed that Euron's hasty return was because the fleet had encountered problems.

How Euron knew that is not important; it's not strange for someone who can summon blizzards to know news from hundreds of grids away.

Shavin rode up to Euron and asked, "My lord, has our fleet been discovered?"

"Hmm." Euron replied simply, his expression grave.

"How is our fleet?" Shavin asked nervously and cautiously.

If it's a fleet, then they'll have to face retaliation from the iron hooves of the North.

Our fleet is still in the Gulf.

"Sir, how many of them are there?" Sha Wen asked with a sigh of relief. For the Ironborn, the ship was their life.

As long as you have a ship, you can both travel and fight!

"Thirty ships, a couple thousand people, I suppose." In reality, Euron didn't know the exact number; he estimated it based on the number of ships.

Upon hearing Euron's words, Shavn breathed a sigh of relief. They had three hundred longships and thirty sailboats, and their numbers were more than four times that of the enemy.

Suddenly, Portley remembered that Euron had been very careful in choosing the landing and hiding places for their ships before they landed, which seemed to be a precautionary measure. However, the enemy was clearly more cunning.

"Euron, let my men lead the vanguard. Our longships have been newly equipped with rams, they're sure to capsize the enemy ships!" Shavin leaned towards Euron, his tone very sincere.

Now that Victarion is dead, Balon's son is dead, and Euron is Aeron's brother, he is the most likely to inherit the Seastone Chair.

Moreover, he personally killed Victarion, so I might as well offer my loyalty as soon as possible.

Euron, however, reacted rather calmly. He looked towards the western coast and said, "Our ships can't move anymore. Have your men prepare for foot combat."

"Can't start? Infantry fighting vehicle?"

Shavin didn't understand Euron's meaning. Shouldn't their ships be anchored in that bay? Why fight on foot?

Looking at Euron, he knew it was unlikely he would get an answer from him. Euron then rode his horse toward Bran, who was riding alongside a mute servant.

Bran, who was being held hostage on horseback, looked up at Euron when he saw him arrive. Euron began to speak to himself, "I once had a dream, when I was very young, that I could fly—"

Bran's eyes flickered; he had also had such a dream, but Bran made no move to speak to this guy who had invaded Winterfell.

Euron, however, didn't care and continued, "Do you know who that guy in my dream was who kept talking to me and telling me I could fly? You probably won't believe it, but it was a three-eyed raven!"

When Euron mentioned the Three-Eyed Raven, Bran's expression changed visibly. Euron, on the other hand, revealed a smug smile.

"That's him, isn't it? That's the same thing that saved you when we were in the Wolfswood! Hmph, that thing really favors you Stark, doesn't it? Did your bastard brother Jon have the same dream too?"

"I have no idea."

"You don't know? Then I'll go ask you myself!"

Meanwhile, in the bay where the Iron Islands Fleet was hiding, a group of Iron Islands soldiers were attempting to break through the ice to allow the ships to return to the sea.

Some tried smashing it with pickaxes, others tried burning it, but the ice was just too thick and hard; it took a lot of effort to even break a hole the size of a human head.

The pirates were all working up a sweat.

"Enemy attack"

At that moment, a mournful warning horn sounded, and the pirates saw only a black-sailed fleet approaching in the distance.

The white wolf heads on the fleet clearly have no connection whatsoever with the Iron Islands.

Brynden had led the ships close to the shore, or more precisely, close to the ice created after Jon sacrificed the warlock.

The arrival of the fleet clearly caused a stir among the Ironborn guarding the ships, but they dared not make any rash moves. There were only about a thousand people guarding the ships, while the thirty ships could bring at least one or two thousand people.

The best course of action for them now is to use sailboats and longships as strongholds and temporary fortresses, and wait for reinforcements.

These ships are like fortresses, enough for them to hold out and await reinforcements.

At this moment, a mute servant left behind by Euron departed from the frozen ship and walked toward the approaching sailboats.

Who is that idiot?

"They seem to be Euron's men?"

No one in the Ironborn could understand this guy's actions; they could only stare at him with bewildered expressions as he went to his death.

In the Iron Islands, sailors can cooperate seamlessly if they are on the same ship, but if they are cooperating with more than one ship, then the captain's affairs are none of their concern.

Now that most of the captains had gone to attack Winterfell, no one else seemed interested in warning the guy who had recklessly left the ship. It was as if whether it was treason or suicide, it had nothing to do with them.

"Hey, there's a crow perched on this guy's shoulder," a guy with binoculars remarked.

"Look! Another person is coming out from the other side! Gods, look at his armor! It's worth at least a thousand Gold Dragon!"

The pirates hiding on the ship peered out and pointed at the scene in the distance.

The man was Jon. Through his Divine Vision, he Euron as the one approaching him, or rather, as Euron controlled the body, since his soul resided within it.

Euron (Stark), we meet again.

Jon and the raven said almost in unison.

"Such a classic villain's line, Euron," Jon said with a smile. For some reason, Jon found himself always speaking to Euron in a teasing tone, perhaps because this guy, though evil, was evil in a pure and simple way.

"You're quite the surprise, Stark. How do you know this kind of magic? Did you also sacrifice your own family?" the raven said in a mocking, noisy voice.

"Is your brain only the size of a walnut? Where do I have any blood relatives now? It's just that my magic is more advanced than yours, and my magical talent far surpasses yours, so the blood of those two male witches is enough for me."

"Talent." Upon hearing Jon's implication that his talent was inferior to the other's, the proud Euron could not accept it. As a result, the raven on the shoulder of the mute servant subconsciously lowered its head and assumed a posture of attack.

You see, he had always been shouting that he wanted others to worship him like a god, but now a brat who was not even half his age was openly expressing contempt, which infuriated Euron.

However, having traveled half the world and survived the ruins of Valyria, Euron quickly calmed himself down.

"You don't know yet, do you? Bran is in my hands now."

"What? You're using Bran to threaten me? Do you think I'd care? Or are you saying you'd kill him if I didn't make way for you? Are you willing to do that? You and Bran had the same dream; he's still quite valuable to you."

Upon hearing Jon's words, Euron narrowed his eyes, giving him a "How did you know?" look.

"Euron, Robb's army is on its way. You'd better hurry, or you'll die here."

"My lord," Brynden approached Jon, "When shall we begin our attack?"

"No, we don't need to launch an attack. The Iron Islands ' army won't arrive for at least three or four days. We'll fight a positional war with them and wait for them to attack us!"

Jon plans to cut the ice to create an ice wall fortification.

He has already sent a message to Robb, asking him to come to the aid of Winterfell.

Robb's army will arrive soon, Euron must find a way to defeat him before the Northern Army arrives, so he will definitely launch an offensive.

Euron might be good at scheming and plotting, but when it comes to real combat, his abilities are only at the level of a second-rate general.

Even with magic, and with proper preparation, it's not necessarily the case that a commander as outstanding as Randyll Tarly be defeated.

The opponent.
