Iconic Scene Reenactment

The unnamed bay was blessed with clear skies; the sky was azure, and the sunlight, reflected by the surrounding ice and snow, brightened the entire world around it.

If one could ignore the ugly, mottled, gigantic bloodstain a hundred meters in diameter in the center of the icy battlefield, and the barrier built of ice and flesh, the surrounding scenery might be considered quite nice.

No one was in the mood to appreciate the scenery, as Euron had to face that damned ice wall, and Jon needed to rescue Bran, who had been pushed out as a hostage.

A little over a hundred meters from the ice wall, Bran was forced onto a horse and brought to the front of the two armies. Euron, behind him, shouted towards the top of the ice wall, "Stark! Let our ships leave, and I'll release this little guy!"

Euron truly didn't want to give up on Bran; he had a feeling that through Bran, he could definitely pursue even greater power!

But he couldn't force these several thousand Ironborn behind him to fight. Given enough time, he might be able to build a fearless puppet army, but that was absolutely impossible now.

It was clear to everyone that if the fighting continued, Jon's ice wall would only grow higher and higher. They couldn't afford to drag it out, nor could they break through it, so they had no choice but to sue for peace.

Euron thought there shouldn't be any problem, after all, Jon dared to rescue Alerie alone, and even ran back from the Wall just to avenge Eddard.

Everyone thought Jon was the kind of person who valued family, so he assumed that if Bran's life was used as leverage, they should be able to leave.

"My lord, it's Bran." Sandor handed the binoculars to Jon, saying anxiously.

However, Jon's eyesight had been enhanced, so he didn't need to. He pushed up his binoculars and said, "Euron, of course I don't want my brother to die, but you can leave. Those thugs who are burning, killing, and looting in the North and Westerlands won't. Here's what we'll do: give Bran back to me, and I'll let you go!"

Euron is a real pain to kill. Unless you find all his servants and puppets and kill them all, even if you kill his main body, you probably won't be able to completely eliminate him.

Jon knew, of course, that Euron would never agree to his conditions, especially since Jon had publicly declared them; it was even less likely.

Sure enough, Euron immediately felt the gazes of the others. He shouted, "Stark! You won't sow discord among us unless you let us all leave, or I'll kill him right now!"

With that, Euron placed the dagger against Bran's neck.

The icy touch of the short sword made Bran shiver, Bran blue eyes flickered twice.

Jon looked at Bran, and he hadn't been unaware that perhaps magic or something similar existed that could heal his leg.

He also quite liked Bran; the two got along very well in Winterfell. Otherwise, the original Jon wouldn't have gone to visit the sleeping Bran before leaving, even after being insulted by Catelyn.

But Jon couldn't possibly give up the opportunity to annihilate this Iron Islands army just because of a boy. These eight thousand-plus men were the elite of the Iron Islands! Destroying them would greatly facilitate his future annexation of the Iron Islands.

Even the chance to kill Euron here.

The annexation of the Iron Islands was part of his plan. After annexing the Iron Islands, he would have no more worries and could focus all his efforts on developing Sunset Sea.

In the future, he will have enough strength to face both Stannis's suspicions and the White Walkers of the Long Night.

If these pirates are let go, many more innocent people will die in the future.

Thinking this, Jon decided to say a few more words to Bran. But unexpectedly, before Jon could speak, Bran spoke first, his blue eyes recovering from panic and replaced by courage. "Jon! You are a Stark, and I am a Stark. I want you to kill this man here and avenge me!"

Jon! I consider you my brother. Remember to give my name to your son! Jon!!"

Bran's attitude drew the attention of many adults, and even the Ironborn, who had always prided themselves on burning, killing, and looting, felt ashamed that they now had to rely on a child as a hostage to survive.

Sandor, standing beside Jon, quickly chimed in, "My lord, let our cavalry charge! We're sure we can rescue Bran!"

Euron, standing behind Bran, was furious to see him willingly seeking death. He shouted at Jon, "Stark! I don't believe you'd really kill him!"

However, the next moment, Jon shoved Sandor aside and then drew his bow and nocked an arrow.

Swoosh-

The arrow shot towards Bran like a meteor. Euron instinctively took a step back. Bran felt a jolt in his body but no pain. Looking down, he saw an arrow piercing his thigh, its tail feathers still trembling.

Warm blood quickly seeped out, and Bran stood there stunned for a moment. Euron beside him, also looked surprised. He looked at Jon again as he drew his bow and aimed.

"Bran--! Do you remember me!"

My father said, "Only through fear can one become brave!" Hold your head high, it won't hurt. I'll make Euron pay with his life.

The soldiers on the ice wall were moved to tears by the scene before them. To prevent them from making unnecessary sacrifices, Jon was willing to kill his own brother.

Euron watched as Bran slowly raised his head, revealing his pale, pinkish-white neck. He understood that Jon was determined to take the lives of his thousands of men, and more importantly, his own!

He felt the same helplessness he had felt on the Silence, and his expression became somewhat ferocious. Euron determined to get his revenge, otherwise Jon would become a thorn in his side sooner or later!

"Stark! You don't care about his life, do you? Fine!" Euron kicked Bran, then pointed in Jon's direction and roared, "Go on, crawl over to your brother! Crawl over there and I'll spare your life!"

Bran, however, remained unmoved, but he soon realized that Jon couldn't possibly kill him. Euron had put the two brothers in a dilemma.

Jon has a clear chance to save Bran, but if he chooses to kill Bran anyway, it would be morally wrong.

Helpless, Bran could only use his hands to support himself on the icy surface as he crawled toward Jon's ice wall.

One meter, two meters, five meters, ten meters—as Bran crawled forward, a trail of blood, as wide as a hand, trailed behind him.

Jon felt a strange sense of familiarity with the scene before him, but he couldn't quite place it.

He jumped straight down from the ice wall and ran towards Bran. Sandor saw Jon jump down, only to find that Jon was running "very fast".

Haken, who was not far away, was about to jump down, but Brynden stopped him.

"Go and get the cavalry ready!"

The two drew closer and closer, while Euron, behind Bran, quietly picked up his bow and arrow and aimed at Bran, who had only crawled a dozen meters. Especially when he looked at Jon, who was running quickly toward Bran, a sinister smile crept onto his lips.

He's going to kill Bran right in front of me!

Jon realized what Euron was about to do, so he quickly ducked down and picked up a fist-sized block of ice from the ground.

Euron didn't know what Jon was going to do, but he noticed that Jon was running faster than he had imagined. He saw Jon skating on ice skates!

Euron was a little slow on the uptake, but he still managed to shoot the arrow at Bran.

Euron's arrow flew from the bow, while Jon Snow threw out a block of ice with all his might.

The next second, something unbelievable happened: a white ice flower exploded on Bran's head.

"What's going on! The ice block he threw missed Euron's arrow!?" Brynden, still standing on the city wall, could hardly believe what he was seeing.

This is simply magic!

Due to the effect of the ice, Euron's arrow landed to Bran's left rear.

Euron he saw. It turned out that Jon hadn't been indifferent to Bran's life; he had deliberately missed!

Otherwise, it makes no sense that he could hit his own arrow with a stone but miss Bran with an arrow!

I lost the psychological battle just now.

Euron, enraged at once again realizing his defeat to Jon, ordered a full-scale charge! After all, Jon was carrying a cripple; there was no way he could outrun them.

If they kill Jon, then they'll still have a chance to survive!

Jon had already reached Bran's side, saw the army charging towards him. Unlike the original Jon, he didn't stay in place to hold off the enemy. Instead, he used his ice blades to grab Bran's collar and quickly retreated. Sandor had only run twenty or thirty meters away at this point.

Seeing Jon retreating, he was about to go forward to greet him when Jon pushed him back.

Jon skating with Bran along, dodging arrows shot from behind.

Seeing the three return safely to the ice wall, Euron berserk. He only knew that North rode sleds; who taught them to ice skate?

But by this time, the entire army had been committed and the attack had to be carried through to the end. Soon, intense firing resumed on the ice wall. The soldiers didn't even need to aim; they could kill people with blind fire.

Bran, still shaken and hiding behind the ice wall, suddenly heard a rumbling sound behind him.

Hundreds of fully armed heavy cavalrymen charged out from behind the ice wall, their steel-wave-like charge momentarily halting the pirates' momentum.

Hundreds of cavalrymen clashed violently with the pirates of the Iron Islands, and the chariots, with their immense impact, broke the bones of many pirates.

Cavalry always slaughters infantry in one-sided fashion, let alone heavy cavalry against a group of pirates who don't even have proper armor.

Jon realized that when the pirates realized they couldn't break through the ice wall, they might scatter and flee. At that point, he wouldn't be able to catch eight thousand people, let alone eight thousand pigs, even if he did, in a few days.

It would be worth making a small sacrifice to keep all of these guys alive. Besides, he could see that the morale of the Iron Islands army was extremely low.

First, they failed to break through the ice wall, and then Jon Snow glided away with Bran right under their noses, leaving a sense of defeat in everyone's hearts.

This is the perfect opportunity to crush and annihilate them!

So Jon Snow rode out from behind the ice wall and led three hundred heavy cavalrymen in a rampage through Euron's ranks.

Euron tried to command his men to trap Jon, but Jon, with his Divine Vision, not only always managed to find the most difficult angles to attack, but he could also anticipate their defenses.

Three hundred heavy cavalrymen stomped out a deathly and bloody dance on the thick ice.

The battle lasted from morning until evening, and Jon had initially thought that the large number of corpses on the ground would increase the risk of the cavalry slipping.

But pirates are human too; they also feel fear and will try to escape. This caused the battlefield to expand continuously, and eventually even the soldiers on the ice wall came out to pursue them.

Corpses and bloodstains stained half the bay red. Through his Divine Vision, Jon realized that they had killed more than two thousand pirates in this battle.

As for the number of prisoners, there would be even more. The outcome of the battle was already a foregone conclusion; the only thing that displeased Jon was that Euron had escaped once again.

The Iron Islands had a large population, and this guy took advantage of the chaos to escape the battlefield with his puppet servants, then used his ravens to block Jon's Raven.

It seems their final showdown will take place during the campaign against the Iron Islands.
