Hundreds upon thousands gathered around Braavos's Moon Pool to witness the death of the exiled true dragon or Titan's Bastard.

It seemed that everyone in Braavos who loved a spectacle had come here. Both duelists were highly talked about.

People stood shoulder to shoulder on the steps outside the Moon Pool. The Sealord's guards and the city watch kept order, clearing space for the duel.

Ordinary people had come for the excitement, crab catchers had come to laugh at Plestan, and some assassin Water Dancers had come to observe and learn.

Read novels every day, with a vast collection of books, available to read anytime.

After all, "Violet Swordsman" Viserys and "Titan's Bastard" Mero were both exceptionally dangerous killers.

To watch comfortably, many people had brought stools, while others had rolled over barrels to sit on.

The innermost circle was occupied by Braavos's distinguished figures: the Sealord, nobles, bankers, courtesans, guild leaders, and famous Water Dancers.

Black Pearl, Syrio, "Crab Tycoon" Lingo, Lady of Darkness, Moonshadow, Nightingale, the Female Swordswoman, and several courtesans stood on Viserys's side. Ser Roland was responsible for protecting the two little ones.

Old Plestan naturally had his own supporters. The courtesan Mermaid Queen and members of the Insurance Association were his allies, along with several ancient noble houses.

The Sealord remained impartial, serving as the mediator.

"Who will win?" Sealord Ferrego asked curiously.

"Hard to say," Kui Luo replied. "Both of them are extremely dangerous killers. Recently, Plestan spent a fortune hiring swordsmen to train Mero, while Viserys seems to have been taken out to sea by Syrio for several days of training."

This Viserys really is a troublemaker, the Sealord thought with a headache. He was always stirring something up.

"Not just a troublemaker, but a genius," Kui Luo said with admiration. "Syrio has a good eye. I have never seen a beginner with no foundation master Water Dancing to such a refined level in such a short time."

"Drink!"

"Drink!"

"Beat him!" the spectators began cheering together for the thrilling moment to come.

"You have to win," Little Plestan said, praying for his own victory.

Viserys appeared wearing an outfit that was half black and half red. Silver Flash had long been waiting to drink blood.

"Titan's Bastard is going to slaughter you," Mero snarled at Viserys. He held a sword. Though Mero's weapon was also a rapier, it was longer and thicker than an ordinary one.

Mero had not been idle either. Recent training from several famous swordsmen had elevated his skills and strengthened his confidence.

"Perhaps I will slaughter you," Viserys said coldly. "I should avenge Moro."

The scorching flames of battle ignited around them. Neither wore armor; this was a completely unrestricted fight.

They both turned sideways and launched their attacks.

The beauty of Water Dancing was unmatched, but rapiers were equally dangerous.

Viserys opened with a storm of attacks, and faint sounds of wind and thunder seemed to echo from Silver Flash.

Mero found it baffling. In his memory, Viserys had been extremely cunning, known for luring enemies in and counterattacking from defense. Yet in today's battle, Viserys was the aggressor.

But then Mero felt delighted. From that perspective, did it not mean Viserys feared him and had begun attacking like a reckless vanguard?

"This Viserys is too hasty," Kui Luo said. "He has the advantage in speed. He should lure his enemy into attacking, wear him down, then deliver a fatal strike. How can he attack so directly?"

Their blades collided, producing a piercing clang of steel.

The sword blades were exceedingly dangerous. A thrust into the body would leave a wound.

Mero was somewhat shocked. The silver-haired youth was far stronger than he had imagined. That was highly unusual.

"Die, little king! I heard your family is already gone!" Mero shrieked.

"I do not speak to the dead," Viserys replied coldly.

They exchanged blows, and Viserys displayed the supple swiftness of Water Dancing to its fullest.

"Truly marvelous," the spectators praised one after another. Both men displayed extraordinary skill in battle.

Sword light flickered, illuminating the duelists' faces.

The sound of steel striking steel rang without pause as the two chased each other beside the Moon Pool.

Viserys was like a slippery rat, and Mero's blade could not touch him.

Meanwhile, Viserys's blade darted left and right, already stabbing several wounds into Mero. Bright red blood stained his black clothes.

"Die!" Mero was already growing frantic. If this continued, he would eventually be worn to death.

Mero wanted to use his larger build and greater strength to catch his enemy before he could react.

So Mero let out a shriek, finally deciding to stop circling.

Mero's rapier moved so quickly that it left a ring of phantom light, accompanied by his deafening roar.

Metal struck metal, and their swords collided.

"Viserys!"

"Violet Swordsman!" Many people cheered for him.

Lady of Darkness quietly watched the shifting battle, while Nightingale and Moonshadow widened their eyes.

Black Pearl stood with the two little ones, Daenerys and Rhaenys.

Viserys had steadily blocked that strike, then leaped back out of Mero's range.

The two clashed again. Viserys swayed lightly, while Mero was like a foolish fish being toyed with.

"Oh!"

"Oh, someone lost! Someone lost!" the spectators screamed wildly.

Mero's blade roared as he unleashed the finishing move he had recently mastered.

But the Way of Insight was truly profound. The blade appeared to pass within inches of Viserys's chest, arms, and head, yet it could never get there one step faster.

Such fierce attacks steadily consumed strength as well.

"What is going on?" Old Plestan was growing anxious. He had spent a fortune and lost face; he certainly did not want to lose the duel.

Yet his family's guard looked incomparably fierce, but could not even touch a hair on his opponent.

Instead, Viserys grew faster, his hands unleashing an even more frenzied torrent of sword strikes.

His sword whirled like a raging storm.

"How does he still have strength?" Kui Luo asked in surprise.

Strength was generally tied to build and age, yet in both respects, Viserys was clearly younger.

In strength, speed, and endurance, Viserys was truly outstanding.

Viserys made a feint, attacking toward the left. Mero hurriedly moved to cover it.

But he never expected Viserys's blade to whirl wildly and slice open Mero's right thigh, carving a long wound across it.

"Fight me!" Mero shouted.

Viserys took aim and thrust. Under his elusive feints, wounds steadily multiplied across Mero's body. Long gashes covered his chest, abdomen, and legs.

Pain and the despair of blood loss assailed Mero.

Viserys was as nimble as a wildcat. Mero tried to slash at Viserys's face, but his speed had now become even slower.

Viserys sliced across Mero's thigh again, astonishingly fast.

"Die!" Mero thrust with all his strength, but whether he stabbed or swept upward in a turning slash, Viserys blocked every strike.

Viserys decided to end this game. He launched a fierce assault on Titan's Bastard's vital points.

Mero's counterattacks were futile attempts. He watched the silver blade flash, but had no idea where it would strike next.

Viserys struck with all his might, darting forward and thrusting directly into Mero's abdomen before twisting the blade hard.

A painful howl rang out. Mero, the troublemaker, collapsed onto the dueling ground, and slick intestines spilled out like eels.

Viserys simply watched Mero die, as though life itself were a farewell ceremony.

Mero pointed at Viserys, but lacked the strength to rise.

Viserys was covered in the scent of blood. Watching Mero's life force slowly drain away, he thrust a sword into his heart and twisted it hard.

Amid the crowd, Viserys looked like a terrifying blood-soaked warrior.

"Bloodthirsty One!"

"Bloodthirsty One!" the spectators cheered together.

"Andas." The Sealord suddenly understood where he could send this troublesome man.
