Rhode and Mira claimed they wanted to take a break and get some fresh air, asking the driver to wait a little while.
The request was not unreasonable, so the driver did not refuse. He cooperatively guided the horses into the shade to rest.
Meanwhile, Rhode led Mira a short distance away.
From the driver's angle, he could only see Rhode's back, while Mira was completely hidden behind him.

"People I don't recognize... The one holding a staff has the 'Phantom' emblem on the back of his neck." Rhode raised an eyebrow.
"The Swift Crab was discovered. They're a little wary, but they didn't do anything and let it pass."
"'Phantom'? You mean Grimoire Heart?"
Mira knew that Grimoire Heart and Fairy Tail had longstanding grudges. The mages of the two guilds occasionally had minor clashes when they met.
Rhode nodded. "Yes, the guild considered one of Fiore's strongest alongside Fairy Tail."
He remembered the information on Grimoire Heart's Master and several of their aces. These two were clearly not among them.
Rhode thought for a moment. "I have three plans. Help me weigh them."
Someone in our guild could actually come up with plans instead of charging straight in whenever trouble arose—and he had three of them right away!
