Background / History

Mirajane grew up in a remote village with her siblings, Elfman and Lisanna. While protecting the villagers from a demon in a church, she accidentally Took Over the demon; the villagers then ostracized her as a demon. The three siblings left and joined Fairy Tail. 75

In Fairy Tail’s earlier years, Mira was an S-Class Mage and a fierce rival of Erza. Their frequent clashes made them comparable to Natsu and Gray, while their strength intimidated much of the guild. 74 75

After Lisanna’s death, Mira stopped using Take Over Magic. Her attempt to activate it later fails completely, leaving her physically weakened and unable to access her former power. 66 86
