Master Control!
Avengers headquarters, conference room.
"Smack!"
A thick document was slammed onto the conference table.
U. S. Secretary of State General Ross leaned on the table, staring at Steve and Tony across from him.
"You must hand over control of the alien weapons! The Plumbers cannot operate independently of the United Nations!" Ross roared. "Earth was nearly destroyed, and you didn't even report it to the government!"
Tony leaned back in his chair and took a sip of coffee.
He just saved the world. And you can't beat him.
"Times have changed, Tony Stark."
Ross pressed the remote control in his hand.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Three heavy mechs descended onto the lawn outside the base. They were entirely black, with extremely thick armor, and their chests glowed with scarlet reactors.
"The military's latest development, the Hulkbuster Armor 2.0—'Heavy Cannon.' It's equipped with a secondary Vibranium shell and an energy suppression field." Ross sneered. "We have the capability to take over defense."
"Bang!"
The conference room door was kicked open.
Jiang Li walked in, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
"What are you going to take over?" Jiang Li asked Ross.
"Hand over your watch and grant access to the Moon Base. Otherwise, the Plumbers be designated a terrorist organization." Ross stood firm, his confidence stemming from the three War Machine outside the door.
Jiang Li silent.
He glanced outside the door.
A thought arose.
He didn't raise his hand, nor did he tap the watch face.
Swish!
Jiang Li vanished instantly, transforming into a bluish-black afterimage as he rushed out of the window.
[XLR8]!
The afterimage circled the first mech once.
"Crack!" The mecha's knee joint was instantly disassembled, causing it to kneel heavily on the ground.
Swish!
A flash of green light appeared in the afterimage, and Jiang Li transformed into a red, four-armed giant in mid-air.
[Four Arms]!
"Boom!" The Four Arms slammed his fist into the chest of the second mech. The secondary Vibranium shell dented like waste paper, and the power reactor instantly shut down. He grabbed the upper and lower halves of the mech with his four hands and tore it in two! The pilot was thrown out.
The instant he landed, another thought flashed through his mind!
Swish!
He transformed into an alien made entirely of Crystal.
[Diamondhead]!
Facing the third mech that raised its weapon, Jiang Li slapped the ground with one hand.
"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!" Dozens of sharp Crystal spikes pierced through the ground, penetrating the mecha's limbs and pinning it firmly in mid-air.
The whole process took less than three seconds.
Swish!
Jiang Li transformed back into human form, sat back down in the chair in the conference room, and casually picked up the water glass on the table to take a sip.
Outside the door, the military's prized "heavy artillery" mechs were reduced to scrap metal.
The conference room was deathly silent.
General Ross slumped in his chair, his face deathly pale, his uniform soaked with cold sweat.
Jiang Li put down his water glass and stared at Ross.
"Listen, the Plumbers is not under anyone's jurisdiction. I'm responsible for dealing with monsters you can't afford to mess with, and you, your job is to shut up."
Jiang Li stood up.
"Any more questions?"
Ross shook his head stiffly.
"Very good. Explaining physics is indeed more effective than explaining principles."
Jiang Li turned and stepped into the teleportation portal.
The far side of the moon, the Plumbers' Base.
The private lounge of Jiang Li was steaming hot.
A huge copper pot with two broths is boiling, the red oil is bubbling and the aroma is irresistible.
Gwen, dressed in loose loungewear with her blonde hair casually tied up, used a slotted spoon to scoop up a piece of tripe and put it into Jiang Li's bowl.
"Is everything on Earth settled?" Gwen asked.
"Just a bunch of politicians." Jiang Li picked up a piece of tripe, dipped it in sesame oil and minced garlic, and ate it in one bite. "The taste is amazing! Stark Industries ' logistics are doing a great job."
Gwen smiled. She rested her chin on her hand and looked at Jiang Li.
Having survived the bloody battle on Titan, the hot pot, the warm light, and the people in front of me now bring me an unprecedented sense of peace.
"Jiang Li."
"Um?"
"Thank you," Gwen said softly.
Jiang Li put down his chopsticks and took Gwen's hand.
"I promised you I would take you home to see the world."
Gwen's eyes reddened slightly as she grasped Jiang Li's hand in return.
Beep beep beep!
A piercing red alarm suddenly blared throughout the lounge.
The warm atmosphere was instantly shattered.
Jiang Li frowned and raised his hand to turn on the terminal projection.
"Commander Gwen!" The Plumbers's communicator's projection appeared, looking anxious. "Intercepted interdimensional distress signal! Coordinates: Earth-65!"
Gwen suddenly stood up.
Earth-65, that's her hometown! Her father, her friends, are all there.
"Connect the signal!" Gwen ordered.
The holographic screen flickered and was filled with static.
After a moment, the image stabilized.
It was a burning city ruin. In the background, the shattered Empire State Building could be vaguely seen.
In the center of the screen stood a boy.
He was wearing a red and black jacket, and his facial features were exactly the same as Jiang Li's!
The only difference was that the boy had short, pale hair.
The white-haired boy looked at the camera, a wicked smile playing on his lips. He raised his left hand, revealing a metal watch on his wrist that resembled an Omnitrix but was entirely crimson.
"Gwen Stacy."
The white-haired boy's voice rang out, filled with undisguised madness.
Do you like the gift I gave you?
The screen cuts off and returns to static.
Gwen stared intently at the black screen, her fingers clenched so tightly they turned white.
Jiang Li stood up, wiped the red grease from the corner of his mouth, and his eyes instantly turned cold.

Jiang Li read out the name of the white-haired boy.
"Prepare the interdimensional portal." Jiang Li turned and walked towards the equipment room.
"We've eaten our fill, time to get back to work."
