Hyperion was unexpectedly friendly, with a remarkably gentle demeanor. Among the muscular bruisers Stark had met, the only one with a better personality than this big guy was probably Superman from the DC universe.
After chatting briefly, he learned that this Hyperion came from a parallel universe. He was an orphan of the Eternals in that world, and before Hill and the others found him, he had been working as a truck driver—a job with a promising future.
"An orphan, an Eternal... What a familiar scenario... Heh." Stark had no idea how many "orphans" of the Eternals there were in the multiverse anymore, but he had certainly encountered quite a few.
Perhaps the multiverse would be better off without the Eternals? He only thought such inflammatory words to himself and did not say them in front of Hill and Hyperion.
Seeing how busy Hill was, Stark and Hyperion left the command room.
The liaison officer who had reported the news earlier came out with them. Out of habit, Stark casually chatted with the blonde for a few moments, only to discover a startling fact.
"God! You're Thor's granddaughter!" Stark looked the ninety-point beauty up and down. He had to admit that her introduction had shocked him quite a bit.
Her figure, her looks, and that lively energy were completely different from the Thor in his memory.
"Tony Stark, I'm warning you—stay away from my granddaughter!" Old Thor emerged from the other side, his beard streaked with gray, missing one eye and one arm. He hefted the massive axe in his hand as though he were ready to split Stark in half.
Two girls who looked sixty percent alike hopped out from behind him. The three sisters chirped away as they followed Old Thor toward the other side of the library.
