The rich would never join an organization like that. What could they possibly gain from taking down Mutants themselves? If you had money, influence, and ability, wouldn't joining Hydra be much better?
In the face of bullets, the so-called Purifiers were no different from targets. They were not frightening. Destroying their bodies was easy; what was frightening was their ideology—their hostility, their hatred. Those were things even the Reality Stone could not touch.
To fight for the future, Daisy's approach was to curb the spread of their hateful ideology starting from the schools.
After all, those who truly enjoyed bullying others, who felt miserable if they went a day without fighting, and who liked watching people wail before them were ultimately a minority.
Daisy instructed Shadowcat Kitty to work openly. With her round face and kindly appearance, the girl would do good deeds to build up her reputation.
The other route was covert. With Lorna taking the lead, they would fight violence with violence. If they were violent, then Daisy's side could be even more violent.
The covert work was more important and far less fit to see the light of day. Daisy could only entrust it to Lorna, whom she trusted completely.
Lorna had a terrifying terrorist father living in semi-seclusion. Coupled with her cold temperament, she did not look remotely friendly. She looked like no good person to begin with, while Esme, who often followed at her side, looked even more like a temptress. They were perfectly suited for the task Daisy had assigned.
After taking the Mutant girl to the medical station, Lorna's phone rang. She exchanged a few brief words with the caller before hanging up.
"Come on. Let's take a look around Brooklyn, then head home. Daisy's back." She and Esme drove to another campus.
