The group divided up the work, and the number of excess personalities began to climb: four hundred, five hundred, one thousand! Fifteen hundred! A chaotic mess of personalities filled their field of vision, everywhere above, below, left, and right. There were people ranging from eight to eighty years old among them. David was becoming increasingly lucid, but Daisy was exhausted.

Fifteen hundred palm strikes were not just mechanical swings. She also had to use Super Vision and Vibration powers to knock the psychic entities out. Even with her abundant stamina, maintaining her focus for so long had left her tired. She now braced both hands against her knees and panted heavily.

"My illness is cured? I feel like I'm a little clearer-headed now?" David's smile was brilliant, a joy that came from the depths of his heart. Daisy deeply resented this guy for bringing out Mr. Hyde to disgust her, so she merely tilted her head and ignored him.

Jean had always felt as though she were treating him like a younger brother, so she gently comforted him.

"David, I told you yesterday that this is your gift, not an illness. You need to study and train a little, and your abilities will gradually come under control."

David shook his head like a rattle-drum. "Study? No, no, I won't study. I hate... hate studying."

Daisy glanced at Jean. Is your little brother a terrible student?

"David has severe dyslexia." Jean was somewhat worried about it.

Daisy did not care much. "It's fine. I'll find him a school with a strong academic atmosphere when the time comes!"

It was more than just dyslexia. David Haller's various mental disorders could fill three sheets of A4 paper. Every disorder humanity currently knew of, and those it did not, could be found in him.
