Daisy told Jean that the Brood war was far from over and that she would keep leading the resistance despite the Shi'ar abandoning the cause. At Jean’s request, Daisy then examined David and presented a series of alarming Kree devices as treatments for his condition.

Jean and Daisy drove Shadow King from David Haller’s mind by destroying the phantoms he used against them and knocking out the personalities he extracted. As more than three thousand personalities began pouring out, Wolverine and Colossus helped stack them on beds in the villa’s backyard.
