A low murmur of laughter and discussion rose in the conference hall. The household heads who had just "abandoned darkness for the light" looked at Lin Ming with teasing superiority, as though they were all fellow travelers.

Gao Fuhai set down the jade exercise balls in his hand, a warm smile appearing on his face as he looked at Lin Ming and nodded approvingly.

Du Gu Ce also nodded expressionlessly in greeting.

"Not bad. His blood and qi are highly condensed, and his foundation is very solid." Demon Charm's voice carried a peculiar magnetism. "He's far stronger than those two pieces of trash earlier." He meant Lin Ya and Wang Tian. "Looks like Peak Martial Arts Hall isn't entirely full of useless fools."

Lin Ya and Wang Tian's expressions turned ugly at Demon Charm's assessment, but they did not dare argue. They could only lower their heads, a flicker of resentment passing through their eyes.
