After Electivire used [Rain Dance], it tried to use [Heat Wave] to resist the [Blizzard] that was already right in its face.
However, Milotic's [Blizzard] was far too powerful. It was simply not something Electivire could withstand.
After being struck by [Blizzard], Electivire dropped to one knee. It looked up at the still cold-faced Milotic across from it, felt the raindrops falling from the sky, and broke into a wild grin.
The two thick tails behind it rose upright, and the dark clouds overhead seemed to sense something as well.
The next second, a golden bolt of lightning crashed straight down from the sky.
Milotic's expression did not change in the slightest, as though she had read Electivire's intentions in advance.
Just as [Thunder] descended, she raised her head and spat a giant dragon toward the sky.

The ferocious green dragon head collided with the falling lightning, and both vanished at the same time.
A faint smile appeared on Wallace's face.
How could he possibly not know Electivire's usual [Rain Dance] plus [Thunder] combo?
His Pokémon had gone through plenty of battles like that.
It was just that some Pokémon were not strong enough to keep up.
A powerful Pokémon like Milotic, however, could forcefully block it through prediction alone.
In the end, [Thunder]'s guaranteed hit was only because rain guided the strike and the lightning fell so quickly that there was no time to dodge.
But a lightning strike traveled in a straight line. As long as a move was released directly above one's head, [Thunder] could be blocked completely.
Though most moves could not withstand the tremendous power of [Thunder].
Milotic, however, was much stronger than Electivire.
