Inside the Pokémon Gym, Clemont commanded his two Pokémon to launch their final attacks at Xerosic's two Pokémon.
As the attacks from the two Pokémon landed, Xerosic's Pokémon lost their ability to battle as well.
At the same time, Clembot had taken control of the system and happily spoke to Clemont.
Seeing this, Xerosic immediately panicked and rushed toward Clembot.
However, Clembot directly activated the traps within the Gym, trapping Xerosic inside.
But...
Just as Clemont was about to shut down the system, he suddenly noticed something was wrong.
Clembot explained, "If it is forcibly shut down like this, the system will suffer an intense load, and all of my main memory will be erased."

As Clemont continued operating the computer, Clembot's expression visibly grew despondent.
Soon, a confirmation pop-up appeared on the computer screen.
Tears streamed down Clemont's face. After taking one last look at Clembot, he prepared to press the "OK" button.

Just as Clemont was about to press it, a voice suddenly came from beyond the shattered outer wall of the Gym.
Clemont turned
