"A special Shiny?"
Steven Stone, Wallace, and Adam all looked at Lu Ze in surprise.
"What do you mean, a special Shiny?"
"Because of the experiments, its body was permanently fixed in white."
Lu Ze looked down at the Poké Ball in his hand with some heartache.
"Likewise, because of those special experiments, its Ability was permanently fixed as Levitate."
"Even after evolving into Gengar or Mega Gengar, that Ability couldn't be changed."
"I see."
Steven Stone and Wallace exchanged a glance, then Wallace gently patted Lu Ze on the shoulder.
"In a way, after escaping the experiments and meeting you, it'll finally have a good life."
"Of course. I'd never mistreat my Pokémon." Lu Ze smiled and put away the Poké Ball.
"Come on. Let's restore their strength first."
As Wallace spoke, he led the way toward the Pokémon Center beside the Pokémon Gym.
"You go ahead. I won't come with you."
Adam waved them off. After seeing Wallace and the others out, he turned and returned to the Pokémon Gym.
"How have the battles been these past few days?"
While they waited for their Pokémon to recover, Steven Stone smiled and asked Lu Ze.
"A little tiring."
Lu Ze covered his face with both hands. "These past few days, I've either been challenging other contestants or on the way to challenge other contestants."
Lu Ze gave a bitter smile. "Ever since I got Pokémon, I've never had battles this intense."
Lu Ze was right. These past few days, he had basically fought two battles a day.
And they had all been full six-on-six battles.
If it had only been battles, that would have been manageable. But there was also travel time in between.
The last time he had battled this frequently had been during the World Youth Championships.
