It was unclear which Shiinotic had cried out, but all the Shiinotic began shaking their bodies.

Countless tiny Effect Spores drifted toward Xia Yan and the others from every direction.

Alakazam raised its spoons and spread a Psychic-type barrier, blocking all the Effect Spores outside it.

Though they had successfully warded off the spores, given the situation before them, they would probably fall asleep before they could even attack the Shiinotic if they rushed out.

If they had a Pokémon that knew "Worry Seed" right now, things would be much easier.

But since they did not.

"We can only force our way through." Xia Yan spoke slowly.

There did not seem to be any Sub-Elite Four-level Pokémon among this group of Shiinotic, so forcing their way through was not impossible.

But they needed to move quickly.

Understanding Xia Yan's intent, Beedrill beat its wings and was the first to rush out.

White currents of air swirled around its body. The light spores were affected by the airflow the moment they drew close.

And that tiny amount of time was enough for Beedrill to act with its speed.

It shot forward like a golden arrow, passing through layers of spores without being touched in the slightest.

In the blink of an eye, it closed in on a Shiinotic. Its "X-Scissor" slashed out without hesitation, knocking every Shiinotic from a tree branch to the ground.

Beedrill's movements tore open a gap amid the dense spores, and Aegislash and Togekiss followed through it.

Alakazam did not move. It protected Xia Yan, Latios, and the others from the spores.

Without any Sub-Elite Four-level Pokémon present, their strength was more than enough.

Seeing their kin fall in droves, some Shiinotic could no longer hold back and attacked.
