Dragon Ball Universe.
North Galaxy, Planet Vegeta.
The homeland of the Saiyans, the strongest fighting race in the universe.
Planet Vegeta was entirely dark red.
Planet Vegeta had originally possessed a moon.
But after the Saiyans defeated the Tuffles, King Vegeta, seeking to prevent rampaging Saiyans from threatening his rule, destroyed the moon with a single Energy Wave.
Because of that, many younger-generation Saiyans had never seen the moon at all.
Although Planet Vegeta was the Saiyans' homeland and had inherited the Tuffles' cutting-edge technology,
the Saiyans' lifestyles were extremely polarized.
Lower-class Saiyans lived very primitively. Many simply found a cave and used it as their home.
Upper-class Saiyans, meanwhile, all lived within the Royal City, enjoying the conveniences of technology and the service of lower races.
It was worth mentioning that Saiyans were divided only into lower and upper classes, and this ranking system was determined from birth.
Those born with a battle power of no more than 100 were Lower-Class Warriors.
Those above 100 were Upper-Class Warriors.
The Saiyans' class system was simple and brutal. Everything was determined by battle power.
At that moment, on the outskirts of Vegeta Royal City, stood an oval-shaped building.
This was a base belonging to the Ship Maintenance Department under the Frieza Force.
Kuros, a member of the lower race, was the Ship Maintenance Department's sole person in charge.
Kuros came from Planet Carl, a planet that had mastered advanced mechanical repair technology.
Because its repair techniques were highly unusual, it had fortunately been incorporated into the Technology Maintenance Department under the Frieza Force.
Kuros was merely the most ordinary repair technician on Planet Carl.
Since his talents were not particularly outstanding, he had been assigned to Planet Vegeta, where he was specifically responsible for repairing the spacecraft of lower-class Saiyans.
This job was exceedingly tedious.
After all, the spacecraft the Frieza Force issued to the Saiyans were all defective products.
The Small Spaceships used by lower-class Saiyans were especially defective, the worst among defective products.
Many spacecraft would break after even a slightly violent impact.
As a result, Kuros had been on Planet Vegeta for three years. Forget leaving—even his rest time was limited.
Today, Kuros detected another malfunction report from a Saiyan Small Spaceship.
Kuros swiftly pulled up the information on the malfunctioning spacecraft on the control console before him.
"That's Lord Ato's spacecraft!!!"
After reviewing the spacecraft's information, Kuros's pupils constricted, and his face filled with panic.
The reason Kuros was so agitated was that among all the Saiyans he had encountered, only Ato had ever shown him the respect due to a spacecraft repair technician.
Even lower-class Saiyans were arrogant and looked down on everyone.
They considered themselves the strongest fighting race in the universe, so they called every race weaker than themselves Lower-Class Lifeforms.
To Saiyans, Lower-Class Lifeforms were little different from ants and could be killed at will.
Only Ato had given Kuros the respect he deserved when collecting his spaceship.
This had made Kuros extremely grateful to Ato.
Thus, upon learning that the malfunctioning spacecraft belonged to Ato, Kuros immediately panicked and quickly opened a communication channel.
"Lord Ato, Lord Ato, can you hear me? I am Kuros... Lord Ato!!"
Ninja World, the Forest of Death in Konoha.
Minato Namikaze stared at Kuros's image inside the spacecraft, his mouth falling open in shock.
Kuros's toad-like head, so different from a human's, not only startled Minato Namikaze but also made him increasingly curious about Ato's origins.
He pondered for a moment, then formed the Seal of Reconciliation.
"Transformation Jutsu."
Poof.
A cloud of white smoke enveloped Minato Namikaze.
When the smoke dispersed, Minato Namikaze had transformed into Ato.
Even the tail behind him, the Saiyan Battle Suit on his body, and the Scouter over his right eye had appeared.
"Ahem."
Minato Namikaze cleared his throat and began recalling Ato's expressions and mannerisms when he spoke.
Then, with his arms folded and a cold expression on his face, Minato Namikaze walked up to the holographic projection.
Standing before Kuros's projection, Minato Namikaze said nothing. He merely stared at Kuros with a proud, frosty gaze.
"Lord Ato, wonderful! It's wonderful that you're all right!"
Kuros had clearly failed to see through Minato Namikaze's Transformation Jutsu. Upon seeing "Ato," he visibly relaxed.
"Lord Ato, I detected an extremely serious malfunction in your spacecraft. Did something happen?"
Kuros's question left Minato Namikaze completely confused, but as a Ninja, disguise and intelligence gathering had already become instinctive to him.
So even though Minato Namikaze had no idea what Kuros was talking about, he still responded smoothly.
"The spacecraft merely crashed onto the ground."
After Minato Namikaze spoke, he immediately began observing Kuros's reaction.
Kuros nodded in sudden realization. "So that's what happened. This batch of spacecraft isn't particularly high-performing. If it made a hard landing, it would suffer severe damage."
"Lord Ato, please rest assured. I will remotely repair your spacecraft as soon as possible and ensure that you can return safely to Planet Vegeta."
Minato Namikaze merely nodded coldly and said casually, "I understand. Now tell me everything you know about the Saiyans."
Although Kuros was somewhat puzzled by "Ato's" strange request,
as a member of a lower race, he did not dare disobey "Ato's" order in the slightest.
Kuros quickly brought up all available information concerning the Saiyans and began explaining at a rapid pace:
"Lord Ato, Saiyans are the strongest fighting race in the universe. They belong to the battle corps of Frieza, the Universe Emperor, and are upper-class warriors within that corps..."
Kuros began introducing everything about the Saiyans in exhaustive detail.
While Kuros spoke, Nara Shikaku, hidden beneath the shadow of a large tree in the distance, rapidly took notes.
"Fine, I understand. You may leave."
After obtaining the information he wanted, Minato Namikaze spoke coldly.
"Yes, Lord Ato. If you want me to repair the spacecraft, you can notify me through the Scouter. I will always await your orders." After saying that, Kuros shut off the communication projection.
Minato Namikaze waited for a while. Only after confirming that the spacecraft before him showed no further activity did he cancel his Transformation Jutsu.
"So Ato truly came from beyond the Ninja World.
Saiyans, the strongest fighting race in the universe?!!"
Minato Namikaze frowned deeply, his expression turning incomparably grave.
Through the intelligence he had just obtained from Kuros, Minato Namikaze finally learned of Ato's origins.
He also learned just how terrifying the Saiyans were.
And he learned Ato's true purpose in coming to the Ninja World.
The Saiyans were in the business of selling planets.
Across the vast universe, they searched for inferior planets suitable for life, then dispatched Saiyan warriors to eliminate the natives on those planets before packaging and selling the entire planet.
"Ato really was ordered to destroy the Ninja World!"
Minato Namikaze's gaze flickered. As the Fourth Hokage, he had already realized the severity of the situation.
"This time, it truly is a major crisis that concerns the survival of the Ninja World!"
