Background / History

Finding Yu Xiaofeng

Hu Liena first finds the injured Yu Xiaofeng, prompting Bibi Dong to bring him back to Spirit Hall. Initially, she rebukes him for failing to thank her teacher. The following morning, she escorts him to his Martial Soul test and warns him to watch his words around Qian Daoliu 1.

As she helps him settle into Spirit Hall, Yu Xiaofeng develops feelings for her. He carves a blood-red stone into a rose pendant, which she accepts delightedly. She promises to protect him from Chen Hao and later proudly displays the gift to Chen Hao, provoking his jealousy 5 6.

Injury and Separation

After reaching level 20, Hu Liena leaves with Bibi Dong to hunt for a spirit ring. She returns unconscious and severely injured. Ghost Douluo is identified as the attacker, and Bibi Dong recognizes the incident as part of Qian Daoliu’s attempt to test Yu Xiaofeng’s background and attachments 8 9.

After a five-year absence, Hu Liena reunites with Yu Xiaofeng in Suotuo City and angrily confronts him for not visiting. She reveals that Chen Hao recently tried to molest her and defeated her when she resisted. Spirit Hall envoys follow them, and Yu Xiaofeng sends her back to Spirit Hall 20 21.

Chen Hao subsequently enters her room, drugs her, and attempts to rape her. Bibi Dong interrupts the attack, injures him, and shields Hu Liena, but Qian Daoliu prevents her from killing him.
