When Dragon saw what the newspaper said, he was furious. He slapped it onto the table so hard that water splashed out of his glass, then angrily addressed Mu Chen across from him. "Mu Chen, look at what they've written!"
"The entire intelligence network is spreading rumors that the Revolutionary Army is about to undergo a change in leadership. With your personality, they think you're going to take charge?"
"What kind of joke is that?"
"If you agreed, I'd step down immediately! Why would anyone need to spread rumors?"
Mu Chen was clearly so smart, and he had both strength and skill. Why did he love slacking off so much?
Just thinking about it gave Dragon a headache!
Meanwhile, Mu Chen lay on the sofa, leisurely stirring the straw in his juice and making gurgling noises. He glanced up at the newspaper, a mischievous grin curling his lips. "Oh?"
"Now that's an explosive headline!"
"Do you think the Marines should give the reporter an award for best editor?" "You're still joking at a time like this?"
"The Marines are deliberately trying to divide us. Members of quite a few branches are already waiting to see what happens. What if someone actually believes the rumors?"
The veins on Dragon's forehead throbbed.
Mu Chen sat up and cut him off.
"Stop, stop, stop. My dear Dragon, relax. Apart from Ivankov and a few others, nobody knows where I am. Waiting to see what happens? Where would they even go to watch?"
Mu Chen knew this was probably another rumor spread by someone with nothing better to do. It was just a few bored Revolutionary Army soldiers gossiping. What else could it be?
So Mu Chen saw no reason to take it to heart.
Watching Mu Chen's flippant, unconcerned attitude, Dragon said with
