Black King VS Wesker (Part 2)

"Wesker? My blood won't be easy to obtain, because it'll kill you," Sebastian Shaw said with a smile.

Sebastian Shaw could absorb and merge energy. Whether it was solar energy, kinetic energy, or even the energy from a nuclear explosion, he could absorb it and reflect it back. His ability was undoubtedly among the top tier of mutant powers. In the future, the only one who could surpass him would be Dark Phoenix Jean, a Level Five mutant capable of easily destroying the Earth.

"Then I'd like to give it a try. Retrieval begins." As Wesker spoke coldly, his right hand in a black combat glove produced a syringe. His aura changed, radiating waves of evil and darkness.

"Hehe, sometimes I really want to say that we're both mutants. Although you may have been artificially created by Umbrella Corporation, we both possess extraordinary power. Why can't we work together? If we mutants joined forces, conquering the world would be entirely possible." Shaw took off his glasses and looked appreciatively at Wesker, whose presence had changed drastically, as he tried to recruit him.

"Hmph. You'll never know Umbrella's true terror. Besides, this body modified by the Progenitor Virus has always longed for a powerful opponent to help it evolve." Wesker sneered, a mocking curve appearing on his lips. Then he swiftly threw out his sunglasses. Their reflection made Shaw close his eyes instinctively. Shaw did not know how powerful Wesker's attacks were, but he feared no attack.

Seizing the opportunity, Wesker drove a left hook into Sebastian Shaw's body. After being modified by the Progenitor Virus, Wesker's physical abilities were incredibly powerful in every aspect. A single punch could even shatter alloy. His instantaneous speed could reach fifty meters per second, and his strength could reach one ton. The unconscious Erik had already been moved away from the office by Nazi soldiers, while his mother had likewise been taken aboard a helicopter. The Nazi soldiers did not dare interfere either. "Oh, such powerful attack power and recovery ability. Is this your strength? You still have one chance to submit to me." Sebastian Shaw smiled. It was clear that if he had such a powerful helper, his plan might succeed much faster.

"No. Now the real beginning starts." Wesker sneered. Then, with instantaneous speed, he unleashed a storm of attacks against Sebastian Shaw. No matter how many times Wesker was sent flying, his powerful recovery ability allowed him to return. Shaw even landed several powerful blows, their force from his fighting techniques piercing through Wesker's body in an instant. Yet Wesker always recovered immediately and completely adapted to the force of Shaw's reflected attacks.

Gradually, after an hour, Sebastian Shaw had not suffered the slightest injury, and neither had Wesker. Under the simulation of every cellular unit of the Progenitor Virus, Wesker adapted to the force generated by several bursts of his own power reflected by Shaw. Similar attacks would no longer work next time. He could even completely resist rifles of the same level. This showed the terrifying evolutionary power of the Progenitor Virus.

"Unfathomable evolution. Perfect power." Sebastian Shaw stared at Wesker with fascination. He now understood Wesker's abilities very well: powerful attack strength, incredible recovery speed, and perfect adaptability. Shaw had personally experienced the endless evolutionary power of the Progenitor Virus.

"Not bad. My body feels like it has evolved again. Your ability has made me even stronger." Still wearing his sunglasses, Wesker smiled coldly. Feeling that his physical abilities and durability had surpassed their previous level by tenfold, he spoke mockingly.

"You... I understand now." Sebastian Shaw's expression changed as he listened to Wesker's words. Shaw realized that Wesker knew he could absorb and reflect any energy. But those powers were passive. Shaw watched Wesker slowly approach without attacking, but he was afraid. He picked up the handgun on the desk and aimed it at Wesker. "Bang! Bang! Bang!" More than a dozen gunshots rang out through the office. Yet Shaw was astonished to see Wesker dodge every bullet with slight movements, just like the computer agents in The Matrix.

"Hmph." Wesker snorted coldly, turning into an afterimage as he grabbed the gun in Shaw's hand. With a light squeeze, the handgun instantly became a pile of parts.

"What exactly do you want?" Sebastian Shaw asked helplessly. Clearly, Wesker had not attacked him and given him energy. All the bullets had already been fired, so they could not produce any more energy. Shaw had no energy source like a nuclear reactor now, so he was naturally weak. He was essentially just an ordinary person. Passively absorbing all energy made Shaw powerful, but at the same time, he had no powerful offensive means.

"I already told you. Your blood." Wesker spoke calmly, then took out a syringe and slowly inserted it into Shaw's neck. After drawing five hundred milliliters of Shaw's blood and slowly cutting off a sample of muscle tissue, Wesker nodded in satisfaction. He placed the collected samples in an insulated case alongside Erik's blood sample. This mission had finally been completed perfectly.

"Umbrella, Wesker, I swear that once I have a large number of mutants, I'll make you pay the price." Sebastian Shaw had not only had his blood drawn this time; the blow to him had also been enormous. Sebastian Shaw might not have understood Umbrella's true terror. His genes would certainly be incorporated into the Tyrant series of bioweapons. Even if he found a way to fix the weaknesses of his superpower, he still would not be Umbrella's match. This was the power of technology—the power of Umbrella in the Marvel Universe.
