As Gilderoy Lockhart's voice fell from inside the office, Kane walked in.
"Kane, y-you came at just the right time. I happened to have something to discuss with you." Gilderoy Lockhart had just emerged from the direction of the bedroom and sat back down in his office chair, a piece of parchment still in his hand.
He handed the parchment to Kane. Kane glanced at it and saw that it was a proposal for something called the Duelling Club.
"Um... you? A Duelling Club? With whom?" Kane looked it over, then raised his head and asked faintly.
"Of course you'll be duelling. I'll merely be the host. Naturally, I'll also need a little help from you." Gilderoy Lockhart looked apologetically at Kane after saying that.
"On that day, I might have a little spar with you."
"Ah, I get it. You want me to go easy on you, right?" Kane said with a raised brow.
"No, I need you to give it everything you have." Gilderoy Lockhart said this with extreme confidence.

Seeing Kane's puzzled expression, Gilderoy Lockhart spread his hands. "After all, Dumbledore has given me so much special tutoring. I should have improved at least a little, shouldn't I?"
