Pain Was Still Too Cruel for the Elderly

Dumbledore's Office was knocked on once again.

"Dumbledore, I need your help." Kane slowly pushed open the door and said in a low voice.

"Well, this is truly rare. At last, I have a chance to help you." Upon hearing Kane's words, Dumbledore rose to his feet without the slightest hesitation.

"Heh, don't make fun of me." Kane reopened the door to the Headmaster's Office as he spoke. "Let's go somewhere. I asked Tom what I should do if I wanted to quietly assassinate someone, and he recommended a Chamber of Secrets to me. I think that chamber might be the so-called Slytherin Chamber of Secrets. Of course, the Basilisk is most likely in there too."

"If that is the case, then this is extremely important. Wait a moment, I need to prepare a few things." As he spoke, Dumbledore returned to the storage cabinet behind his desk and pulled out a large pile of items. Only after tossing a hard candy into his mouth was he finally done.

Kane, however, had no intention of passing up such a good opportunity. Honestly, this was the first time he had seen what was inside Dumbledore's cabinet.
