Mooncaller Wand

As silver-white light descended from the moon hanging high in the sky, everyone who witnessed the scene stared in shock, most of them taking half a step back in unison.

Lupin and Hagrid were among them.

Kane watched Lupin, who had already transformed into a werewolf, retreat helplessly before waving at him, reminding him of tonight's main task: making contact with the moon's power.

As though he had forgotten how to breathe, Lupin slowly walked toward the pillar of light. He looked back at Kane once more, then, after seeing him nod, reached out and touched the beam.

In an instant, Lupin felt pain, as though countless shards of glass were slicing through his hand. Perhaps it was because werewolves, creatures that transformed under the moon, possessed at least a trace of affinity with it.

After the pain subsided, it was replaced by another sensation.

Unlike Lupin, who was attempting to establish contact with the moon, Kane snapped his fingers at Dumbledore, who was still gazing up at the moon, bringing him back to his senses.

"Is the moon really that pretty?" Kane asked with a raised brow.

"Mm. Actually, I'm more curious about you, but I feel that staring at you would be rather impolite." Dumbledore looked at Kane with an extremely strange expression. Truthfully, he had already tried his best to imagine Kane's past experiences as abstract, dangerous, and legendary.

Yet after seeing this, Dumbledore finally realized... the little Kane adventure stories he had invented to lull himself to sleep every night... had still been too conservative.

Naturally, Kane had no idea what Dumbledore was thinking. He was only curious how long Lupin would need to finish speaking with the old moon, and how much the Mooncaller Wand's upgrade time had changed.
