The Twelve Heavenly Guards

(The second chapter!!!) The entire palace complex was called Star Heaven, and the seat Yuan Tian now occupied had a name of its own: the Nine-Wilderness Star Chair. It controlled all of Star Heaven. The moment Yuan Tian sat on it and received the information it conveyed, he gained command of the entire complex.

Star Heaven was the imperial palace the Heavenly Dao had bestowed upon the Star Emperor. That meant it now belonged to Yuan Tian, fair and square. He no longer had to take it without asking, as he had first intended.

Even without visiting the other nine palaces, Yuan Tian now knew them intimately—better than he would have from exploring them himself. It felt wonderful, and he liked it.

Now that Yuan Tian controlled all of Star Heaven, he also understood what the twelve silver pillars that had puzzled him were. They had another name: Star Origin Pillars.

Those twelve Star Origin Pillars were anything but ordinary. Then again, nothing ordinary would appear here. The Heavenly Dao would never live down the embarrassment.

The twelve Star Origin Pillars were formed from a special power created by combining stellar power and primordial cycle power. Their name, naturally, took a word from each.

Though the Star Origin Pillars were not spirit treasures like innate spirit treasures, they still counted as rare treasures. Their greatest use was drawing on and wielding stellar power and primordial cycle power. They could also combine the two into a special force capable of concealment and confinement.
