Ambush

The Sky Fox Clan's conclusion was to fight an ambush battle. That could not be called a good idea, and it made people wonder whether the Sky Fox Clan truly possessed peerless wisdom. Why was this idea a bad one? Let us analyze it below.

The Primordial Wilderness differed from the modern age. They had something even more convenient than modern radar: a cultivator's Divine Sense. They could use Divine Sense to search their surroundings. Though they would not keep their Divine Sense active at all times, since that thing consumed far too much energy, during warfare in the Primordial Wilderness, some people would certainly keep their Divine Sense activated constantly. Thus, fighting an ambush battle in the Primordial Wilderness was not a wise choice. Ambushes were largely unworkable there. For a large-scale ambush to succeed in the Primordial Wilderness, there were generally two conditions. First, the ambushing side had to be vastly stronger than the ambushed side, so that the latter could not detect them. But if they were that much stronger, was there any need for an ambush? Would that not be like taking off one's pants just to fart—an utterly unnecessary extra step? Second, they could use a massive formation to conceal themselves. Yet if such a formation hid too many people, traces could still be found. Just like the Sky Fox allied forces at this moment: if the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribes inspected things seriously, the Sky Fox Clan's strategy could never succeed. But this time, it seemed the Dragon-Phoenix-Qilin Tribes were simply fated for bad luck. Why?
