For several days in a row, Su Yu found that his books kept disappearing for no apparent reason. Normally, he left them on the coffee table and no one touched them, but recently, he had no idea what was going on.

Could the housekeeper have put them away?

Before long, several actual fashion magazines appeared on the coffee table, leaving Su Yu no choice but to suspect that someone had swapped out his books.

No one in this house would casually touch his things. It couldn't be that Gu Lin had been bored enough to replace his books, could it?

When Su Yu received Su Wang's message, he happened to be sitting in front of his computer with the game open. He leaned back in his swivel chair and stared at his phone screen for quite a while, watching the gameplay video Su Wang had sent him.

He had tricked Su Wang into building a healer as a damage dealer, never expecting the other man to actually do it and pour all his resources into a support character.

The more Su Yu watched the video, the more something felt off. Su Wang had built the healer as a damage type, and it was actually stronger than most dedicated damage dealers.

Seeing that his team had achieved considerable results, Su Wang was extremely grateful to him and affirmed both his strategy and his understanding of the game.

[Su Wang: The character you recommended is really powerful.]

[Su Yu: You're pretty good too.]

He really was impressive. In just a few days, he had nearly spent enough on this character to buy a house—he was even more ruthless than Su Yu. Su Yu wondered if Su Tinghuai would give him a severe scolding for spending so recklessly if he found out.

Back when Su Yu was still with the Su family, he loved watching Su Tinghuai scold Su Wang. He did not particularly like either of them, but who did not enjoy watching people tear into each other? Better yet if the two of them started fighting.

[Su Wang: You're too kind. Let's log on. You need to turn on voice chat and guide me. I never understand what you're trying to describe.]

Without another word, Su Yu replied with a few words: That costs extra.

[Su Wang: Fine, I'll transfer it to you later.]

Who would have thought that his second brother, the one who hated him most, would become his biggest spender? If Su Wang found out his real identity, would that count as having his fantasy shattered?

Whatever.

It would be best if he could piss him off.

"The Landlord's Foolish Son, what do those Martian-text suffixes after your username mean? I can't even recognize the characters."

Putting on an aloof act, Su Yu replied, "Cool Fish Young Master."

Su Wang was clearly stunned for a second, then said bluntly, "That's tacky as hell."

"What do you know? Tacky taken to the extreme becomes trendy."

Before logging in, Su Wang had clearly said he wanted Su Yu to carry him. But the moment he got online, he ran around like a wild horse off its reins. He would not do the quests Su Yu told him to do, would not pick up materials, and provoked monsters all over the map.

Su Yu rarely carried people and had not experienced this blood-pressure-rising feeling in a long time. In the end, he could not take it anymore and simply stood still. Su Wang was promptly hacked back to the resurrection point by a monster.

Su Yu could hear the sounds from Su Wang's side. After several sharp clacks of his keyboard, Su Wang said, "What the hell, why didn't you move? I died!"

"You seemed like you didn't need me to carry you, so I let you show off a little. Besides, you're pretty good."

"You've got quite the temper. Is this how you usually treat your clients?"

"Yeah. If you don't like it, I'll log off and refund your order."

It was one thing to put up with Su Wang's attitude at home. There was no way he was going to take it through the internet too.

"Fine, fine. I'll follow you."

Su Yu was not particularly willing to talk to Su Wang unless he was guiding him through quests, but Su Wang kept asking this and that like a chatterbox, as if he were very interested in him.

"Why do you still use that voice changer effect when you're on voice chat with me? Are you really that mysterious?"

Su Yu hummed. "Because I'm Cool Fish Young Master."

Su Wang said, "...I really can't tell whether you're aloof or just an idiot."

Su Yu said, "I cultivate both."

"Then how old are you? You shouldn't be that old, right? Omega or Alpha?"

"Omega. Divorced, with two kids."

"Give me a break. Your profile says you're only twenty-four, about the same age as my younger brother."

Su Yu felt nothing at all and casually added, "Maybe your younger brother and I were even born on the same year, month, and day."

"How did you know? That's why I first noticed you. Too bad my younger brother isn't interested in this game, or I'd have played with him."

What, he needed a substitute even for gaming?

He was actually Su Hui's inferior replacement?

Su Wang clicked his tongue and actually gave it some serious thought. "A little. You're not as obedient as my younger brother."

Su Hui was mute. How could he possibly look disobedient? If he could speak, Su Yu guaranteed that the things coming out of his mouth would be even nastier than Gu Lin's.

After a while, Su Wang did not hear Su Yu say anything, so he asked, "Why aren't you talking?"

"Boss, I'm being obedient."

Su Wang said, "You've got quite a temper for a gaming companion."

"Can't handle it, boss? Perfect. It's about time anyway, so I'll log off first."

With that, Su Yu hung up on him. Su Wang clearly still had something to say, but Su Yu had no interest in hearing it.
