Under everyone's gaze, Yun Shang slowly uttered four words, "I want, WeChat."

He usually did not speak, to the point where he was not very fluent when communicating with others. He said every word very slowly, a bit like a toddler just learning to talk.

Young Aunt's eyes instantly welled up with tears. The last time Yun Shang spoke had been several days ago. These past few days, who knew what had happened, but he had stubbornly refused to open his mouth, keeping himself gloomy the whole time.

"Alright, alright, alright, Shang Shang, Mom will apply for one for you right now."

Yun Shang stared at her for a moment, seemingly unable to understand the emotions of the person in front of him who was both crying and smiling.

Having obtained a WeChat ID, Yun Shang seemed very happy. He immediately went back to his original seat and sat down, and even added Su Yu.

Now able to play games openly, Su Yu was thrilled, not caring at all that others were watching him.

Young Aunt felt immensely gratified, and her favorability toward Su Yu shot straight up.

During the lunch break, most people went upstairs to rest. Yun Shang and Su Yu were still playing. Gu Lin, sitting on the sofa, cast his gaze toward the Omega and was just about to speak when his Young Uncle suddenly chimed in, "Xiao Lin, I suddenly remembered we have a business deal we didn't finish discussing last time. Why don't we go to the study and talk about it right now?"

Gu Lin: "?"

What kind of business were they, a family, going to discuss.

Young Uncle didn't care whether he was willing or not, grabbing his arm and pulling him away. Two tall alphas shoving each other around was truly a rare sight.

Gu Lin looked back at them again and said, "They've been playing games for a long time. Shouldn't someone manage them?"

Who would have thought that not only did Young Uncle not agree with his view, but he also lectured him severely, "What is there to manage? It's only been an hour or so. Look at you, you're regressing more and more, worrying even more than me, a father. Young man, what's wrong with wanting to play."

"It's not like you don't know that Shang Shang gets first place in his grade every time."

Young Uncle was impervious to reason. Gu Lin's expression turned cold, and he said, "This is my Omega."

Young Uncle was startled, then gave an "oh," and said, "I see the kid is playing quite happily too. You need to think more from your Omega's perspective; you can't restrict people at every turn."

There was some family affection, but not much. It was almost as if Su Yu was his biological nephew.

Su Yu had a very comfortable day. After going to the hotel, he only showed his face before the guests and then left with Yun Shang. Without Gu Lin watching him, he was at ease doing whatever he wanted, except for not being able to speak.

He and Yun Shang sat alone on the hotel terrace. There was practically no one there, except for Yun Shang's mother, who came in and out multiple times to bring them food. However, Su Yu didn't feel awkward at all; instead, he was extremely glad she came because there was food.

Su Yu fairly divided the snacks Young Aunt brought in into two portions. Yun Shang paused and glanced at him, not understanding why he was so happy when eating.

Su Yu handed him a fork to signal him to eat the cake. Yun Shang slowly took the fork and then ate along with Su Yu.

Hiding outside and observing the two of them, Young Aunt couldn't help saying, "Why don't we persuade Xiao Lin to stay here tonight?"

When Young Uncle heard this, he said, "Aren't you making things difficult for me? When I dragged him upstairs at noon today, he already gave me a cold face. He definitely won't be willing."

Young Aunt didn't care at all and said, "Then forget it. If he won't stay, let him go back. As long as Xiao Hui is here, that's fine. Tell him not to worry, I'll take good care of Xiao Hui."

Young Uncle passed along his wife's message. The person concerned only found it utterly absurd. With a displeased expression, he uttered two words: "In your dreams."

"If all else fails, why don't you go on a business trip?"

"There are no business trips to go on."

Gu Lin set down his red wine glass and turned to leave. Young Uncle followed him as well; if it weren't for his wife and child, who would act so humble and hover around their nephew.

"I understand how you can't bear to be away from your wife, so I'm saying you might as well accompany him and stay here for the night."

"Young Uncle, one night cannot change anything. Shang Shang can't possibly learn to communicate with people in a single night. You guys need to communicate with him yourselves."

Young Uncle was stunned, feeling that what Gu Lin said made a lot of sense, and agreed with his point of view. Afterwards, his brow furrowed slightly, and after a moment of thought, he said, "Then how about... staying a few more nights?"

Gu Lin: "...Unreasonable."

He scanned his surroundings and didn't see Su Yu's figure in the living room, so he turned and went back upstairs, while Young Uncle kept chattering in his ear.

When Gu Lin found Su Yu, he was eating cake and watching videos with Yun Shang. Even though the two didn't speak, the scene somehow looked exceptionally harmonious, and Young Aunt was standing not far away watching them.

"Why didn't Young Aunt go over?"

Young Aunt snapped out of it, shook her head with deep emotion, and said, "I was afraid of going in and disturbing them."

Gu Lin cast a rather strange look at the couple. Did they have any idea at all that Su Yu was his Omega. He glanced at his phone and slowly said, "It's getting late. I'll take him to say goodbye to Grandmother first and won't bother the two of you any longer."

Young Aunt reached out and grabbed his sleeve. Could you imagine it—a female Omega nearly thirty centimeters shorter than him actually managed to drag him back two steps.

"Xiao Lin, I don't feel disturbed at all. Why don't you just come back with us tonight? It just so happens that your Grandmother hasn't seen you in quite a long time either."

"No need. I will come back to visit often."

"No, no, no, Xiao Hui coming is enough. You go on your business trips; whether you come or not isn't all that important."

Young Aunt paused slightly, only then realizing what she had just said, and hurriedly added, "What I mean is, Grandmother will be even happier seeing the two of you come together."

"Do we have to talk like this?" Gu Lin's gaze fell on Young Aunt's hands, his eyes darkening slightly. The other person was gripping so tightly that his clothes were rumpled.

Hearing this, Young Aunt released her hand and even smoothed out his clothes for him, a hint of apology on her face, "Look at me, I accidentally grabbed a bit too hard. Don't take offense."

He was well past taking offense. This couple was simply identical; whenever their emotions got the slightest bit excited, they loved to get physical.

Su Yu, who was eating, suddenly heard Gu Lin call his name. Looking up, he found Gu Lin standing at the doorway, with Yun Shang's parents standing beside him. The alpha was the same as ever, with no unnecessary expression on his face, and simply said, "We're going home."

Su Yu glanced at Yun Shang, and then his body involuntarily began to pack his things.

He and Gu Lin first said goodbye to Grandmother and then left the banquet. When they came out, Yun Shang's parents saw them off all the way. Young Aunt chatted with him along the path, saying that he must come over and visit more often when he had time. Although Su Yu could not speak, he kept nodding in response to her.

"If you run into any trouble in the future, you can always tell me."

Su Yu did not take it to heart and still nodded.

On the way home, Gu Lin suddenly remarked, "To be able to make Young Aunt say words like that, you really do have some skill."

Su Yu looked up at him in incomprehension. He did not understand what Gu Lin meant by those words, and seeing his blank eyes, Gu Lin did not offer any further explanation.
