"So, when a group breaks through the moral bottom line and strips innocent people of their right to live, when the rules they make allow them to slaughter us at will, then, whatever their reasons, all under heaven must join in their destruction! Not out of loyalty to a sovereign, not out of love for a country, not for nobility, not for morality, but solely to protect ourselves!"
"Today, which nation of the Human Race can slaughter innocent civilians at will? None. That means we humans can protect ourselves. But beyond the Human Race, the Demon Barbarians regard us as human slaves. The humans in the Demon Realm are abused at will, killed, or ***. As long as the Demon Realm exists, its rules permit them to kill us without restraint. To protect ourselves, we humans must kill them all!"
"Perhaps you think my words are too harsh. Human men have not called for women to be beaten or killed; they still regard women as their own people. Now, I ask every Great Scholar here to think carefully: with the shackles and restraints we impose on women today, do we deserve to call ourselves their own people? I, Fang Yun, believe I do not. Neither do you. Neither do the Sages!"
At the Void Sage's wrath, thunder sprang to life in the sky. Lightning flashed like a net, blanketing a thousand miles, and rolling thunder shook the ears to deafness.
Not one of the Great Scholars filling the hall offered a rebuttal.
Fang Yun said slowly, "Against the Demon Barbarians, our ultimate aim is to 'kill them all.' Then what is our ultimate aim regarding women? It is that 'women stand no lower than men.' Only then can we truly regard them as our own people."
