Li Qingxian glanced at the ten Life-Replacement Wooden Children at his waist. He did not immediately use the Black Cat-Head Puppet, instead casting various Fate Arts on himself to bolster his Fortune.
"Lend me a few things." Li Qingxian looked at Shen Xiaoyi.
"You really are cautious." As Shen Xiaoyi spoke, she produced several items from thin air: a multicolored cord, a golden gourd, a jade ruyi, a stone-carved fish, and eight others. Finally, she took out a large Fortune Character and stuck it to Li Qingxian's chest and abdomen.
Li Qingxian was somewhat dumbfounded. "Am I the cautious one, or are you?"
Shen Xiaoyi's face reddened. "The elders told me to carry them."
"Anything else?" Li Qingxian asked.
Shen Xiaoyi froze for a moment. After hesitating briefly, she reached both hands into the back of her collar, pinched a thin red cord, and removed it.
Three jade ornaments hung from the red cord: a jade Wengzhong figure, an emerald compass, and a tourmaline Gangmao pendant.
Shen Xiaoyi rose onto her toes and held up the string of jade ornaments. Li Qingxian lowered his head slightly as she put it around his neck and tucked the jade pieces beneath his collar.
Li Qingxian felt the warm jade against his skin.
Li Qingxian gently twitched his nose, and a faint, secluded fragrance lingered in his nostrils.
"Give them back when you're done!" Shen Xiaoyi noticed Li Qingxian's little movement and glared at him, blushing.
"That really is a complete set. Thanks."
Li Qingxian lightly patted the three jade ornaments through his clothes, signaling Shen Xiaoyi to step back a little. "Don't get splattered with blood."
Shen Xiaoyi slowly retreated.
After thinking it over, Li Qingxian found no problems. With a thought, clear qi surged skyward behind him, and the glittering Great
