For the next several days, all was quiet in the Giant City.
Boer did not seek out Qin Ran again, though Qin Ran saw him once at the Harvest Tavern-during one of Lawless's regular gatherings. Their eyes met briefly, but they exchanged no further words.
Time flew by.
When the instance cooldown ended, Qin Ran checked his equipment and items once more, then chose to enter.
