A gangster suddenly rushed out from behind Texas, holding a heavy iron rod.

The whistle it made through the air was enough to tell anyone that getting hit by it would not feel good.

Within the half-second before it could swing down—

A gunshot rang out.

A yellow beam streaked through the air, leaving a yellow trail as it struck the gangster.

The iron rod in his hand lost its direction and fell to the ground.

He let out only a single scream before collapsing onto the pavement.

"Phew!"

Exusiai smiled as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. "This mission was a little exhausting. When we get back, I have to ask the boss for more pay."

A large group of black-clad men lay sprawled in front of the black sedan, clutching their injured spots and crying out in pain.

Penguin Logistics had taken them all down with just two people. Was this really a logistics company?!

Texas picked up the box from the ground and put it back into the car's trunk.

"Mm. The gangs have been acting strangely this year. The two of us alone are actually having a bit of a hard time."
