Background / History

The Earth Spirit is the guardian consciousness of Langhuan Blessed Land, a legacy associated with True Lord Xuan Yuan Runji. It had remained dormant for hundreds of years after its mind was polluted by the power of a Heart Moon True Lord. Fourth Lord Li concealed it inside the Peach Blossom Spring dreamscape, altering time within the dream while seeking someone capable of awakening it 86 88.

Shen Qingzhou's Foundation Establishment breakthrough, the destruction of the Heart Moon illusion, and the awakening of the Kan Water tree restore the Earth Spirit. It immediately takes command of the blessed land's external defense, leaving Shen to eliminate the hostile cultivators and foreign races trapped within 88.

After the external True Lord's assault is repelled, the Earth Spirit moves Langhuan Blessed Land into a deeper layer of space, making future intrusion far more difficult. It then recognizes Shen Qingzhou, Qin Bufan, and Zhou Yan as successful participants in the True Lord's trial and assigns their inheritance statuses 90.

Appearance

The Earth Spirit first manifests as a towering phantom wrapped in dense Kan Water and Winnowing Basket Water laws. Despite this imposing form, its voice is tender and childlike 88.

Its later avatar is a plump, pale child-priest with a Daoist bun.
