Even members wearing body armor couldn't withstand the full-powered 7.62mm rounds. When bullets struck them, blood mist exploded from their chests, and the impact sent their bodies flying like rag dolls.
Some tried to use cars as cover, but it was useless. After the bullets swept through, the vehicles were left riddled with holes, and those hiding behind them fell asleep on the spot.
"F*ck, get into the container yard!" Murad was the quickest thinker. The instant the ambush began, he gave the order. The cars that hadn't been wrecked yet roared their engines and crashed headlong into the maze of containers, escaping the line of fire.
The gang members piled out of their cars. Murad had been lucky enough to avoid the storm of bullets, and he grabbed his pistol before crawling out of the back seat.
He scanned the area and realized that in just three to five seconds, half the men he had brought had been lost.
More than fifty people! There had been more than fifty of them!
Murad's heart bled. He knew that even if they managed to kill their target today, the Albanians' prestige would plummet, and years of hard work would be nearly wiped out overnight.
He took a deep breath and forced himself to calm down. "They're using machine guns. They can only stay in one place. Spread out and surround them!"
The remaining fifty-odd men nodded silently and quickly fanned out through the container yard.
A sudden dull thud drew everyone's attention. Looking up, they saw an unbelievably muscular man leap onto the top of a three-story stack of containers, two machine guns cradled in his arms and their smoking barrels pointed at the crowd.
"..." x50
Was this guy really human? x50
Rat-a-tat-tat—rat-a-tat-tat—!
The machine guns roared again. A terrifying storm of bullets ravaged the container yard as gang members scattered in panic. Even while fleeing for their lives, they didn't forget to raise their guns and fire wildly in Xiao Miao's direction.
They really were elite troops, it seemed!
Five men were instantly shredded by bullets. The rest hurried into blind spots outside his firing arc. Xiao Miao shot two more through the containers, then moved across the tops of the stacks.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Bullets tore through the spot where Xiao Miao had just been standing. He ran to the edge of the container stack and leaped, landing steadily atop another three-story stack. The M240B in his hands fired as he ran, shredding another three men.
"F*ck, die!"
"Devil, get back to hell!"
"Blow him up!"
Several grenades were thrown from the blind spots at once, flying toward Xiao Miao from every direction. He immediately charged forward, crouched slightly at the edge, and explosively launched himself over the heads of several gang members.
Their eyes met. Xiao Miao pulled the trigger in midair, and bullets fell like sharp swords from above, entering through the tops of their skulls and piercing straight through their bodies.
Then a flash of red light appeared out of nowhere. Saeko Busujima materialized in midair, drove her katana into the outer wall of a container with one hand, grabbed Xiao Miao with the other, and swung around the blade as a pivot before using the momentum to hurl him toward the top of another container tower.
While flying through the air, Xiao Miao spotted two gang members in hiding. The M240 spat fire and tore them to pieces.
The grenades exploded, but the containers absorbed the shockwaves and shrapnel.
Xiao Miao landed smoothly. Wisps of blue smoke rose from his gun barrels as Saeko Busujima turned into red light and returned to his body.
The surviving Albanians were completely terrified. Their will to fight had vanished as they fled madly deeper into the container yard, ignoring Murad no matter how he called out to them.
Xiao Miao walked to the edge of the containers and looked down at the fleeing survivors. "Brian, they've entered the planned ambush zone."
"Copy!" Brian's voice came through the earpiece, and then...
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A chain of explosions erupted deep in the container yard. Brian remotely detonated the prearranged traps, and the gang members who had entered the blast zone were completely swallowed by fire and shrapnel.
A few people luckily escaped death, only to be thrown away by the shockwaves and slammed to the ground in a daze.
After replacing the ammunition belts, Xiao Miao sprinted across the container tops with an M240 in each hand, charging toward the last few men like the Grim Reaper claiming lives.
High ground against low ground, guns against idiots. The ancients had not deceived me.
Xiao Miao seemed to possess endless stamina. He quickly caught up to the remaining men, and his machine guns fired in bursts, sending the last gang members to hell one by one.
As the final man was torn in half by bullets, Port of Gennevilliers returned to silence.
Xiao Miao stood atop the containers and surveyed the area with satisfaction before turning toward the road outside the port.
At that moment, the cars parked along the outer road started their engines one after another. The observers were drenched in sweat, their hands shaking violently, and some even stalled their cars while trying to pull away.
"What happened? Say something!" their superiors urged over the phone.
"F*ck! There's a Rambo at the port, and I'm not joking!" an observer screamed in collapse, plunging the other end of the call into silence. Then his car finally started, brutally rammed the vehicle beside it aside, and sped away.
One car, two cars, three cars... The terrified observers didn't dare linger, afraid of catching the attention of the killing god at the port. Within seconds, every vehicle parked along the road had disappeared.
Meanwhile, Xiao Miao and Brian found Murad and Marco amid the pile of corpses. Father and son lay together. Marco had been blown into a bloody mess, while Murad still had one breath left.
"Yeah, they're the Albanian Mafia's first and second in command. You deal with them. They were the masterminds behind Kim's kidnapping."
"Thanks." Brian drew his pistol and fired a bullet into Murad's forehead, completely ending the ambitious old man.

The information about the change in favorability entered Xiao Miao's mind. He didn't draw immediately. Instead, he held his M240 and gave every corpse two more shots to prevent any surprises.
Only after confirming that every member of the Albanian Mafia who had arrived at the port was dead did Xiao Miao and Brian drive away.
"Go to this private airport immediately." In the car, Xiao Miao handed Brian an address.
Brian fell silent for a moment. "You spent gold coins again?"
"That's right."
"...Thanks."
"No need to thank me." Xiao Miao looked at Brian. "If you really want to thank me, teach me some useful skills. Making explosives, setting traps, that sort of thing."
You could never have too many skills. Xiao Miao felt that his skill list was still too limited and not comprehensive enough.
Brian agreed readily. "Fine, no problem."
Though they had spent little time together, Brian knew Xiao Miao wasn't a bad person. He was a principled killer... Well, a principled butcher!
Half an hour later, sirens approached from the distance. Police cars with flashing lights reluctantly drove toward the port. Several police vehicles silently understood one another and kept their speed slow. No matter how their superiors urged them, they refused to accelerate.
If responding to a call hadn't required them to use sirens, the officers working the night shift would have wanted to turn them off entirely and make themselves less noticeable.
Driving around with sirens blaring in the middle of the night was so noisy. The neighbors still had work tomorrow!
It wasn't that they were afraid of dying. The intelligence from their informants was simply too outrageous.
A man carrying machine guns had been leaping across container stacks, darting up and down like a dragon. If that wasn't Rambo, what was?
What if Mr. Rambo hadn't killed to his satisfaction yet and was still waiting at the port? Wouldn't they just be delivering themselves to him on a platter?
By the time the police finally dawdled their way to the port, Xiao Miao's private plane had already taken off.
At the same time, major newspapers began receiving information, and embassies from various countries all received anonymous tip-offs. The callers provided several locations and bluntly stated that the girls who had gone missing in Paris from various countries were there.
"I don't think this will accomplish much."
On the plane, Brian looked at Xiao Miao. "If the powerful people really wanted to save those girls, the Albanian Mafia would have been wiped out long ago."
"That's why we have to leak it to both the media and so many people at once." Xiao Miao set down his cola. "The powerful aren't united. This can become a weapon for them to attack each other with. Under the media spotlight, they'll still be happy to pretend to be good people. And besides..."
Brian asked in confusion, "Besides what?"
Xiao Miao looked out the window. "Do good deeds without asking what the future holds. Besides, I've been accumulating merit lately."
Brian still looked utterly confused. "Accumulating merit?"
Xiao Miao didn't answer. He pushed the gin toward Brian, sat back down, and used his thoughts to communicate with the Fate Dice.
Let's draw!
Brian—or rather, Liam Neeson—had played plenty of roles. I should be able to draw something good... right?
