After fighting the US Military for so long, they had learned their lesson. They used no American electronics, and their base had no network.
So even the Red Queen couldn't find them.
Only now had she finally become useful.
It turned out artificial intelligence couldn't do everything.
When gunfire erupted outside, the people in the cave heard it too.
"What's going on?"
They all belonged to the Ten Rings, though their leader Wenwu wasn't here. This was only a branch.
"Enemy attack! The US Military found us! Prepare to fight back!"
"How did the US Military find this place?"
"Damn it! Go kill that American!"
A bald man shouted the order.
Deep inside the cave, Tony Stark heard the commotion too.
At first it was faint, but then came an explosion.
He went to the iron door and pressed his ear against it.
"Someone's attacking!"
"It's got to be the US Military. They've come to rescue us."
A smile appeared on Tony Stark's face for the first time in ages, and his exhausted spirits lifted.
"How much longer do we need?"
Yinsen checked the computer. The huge hunk of iron that was the Mark I was still uploading files.
Tony Stark had no way to call on JARVIS here.
Otherwise, he could have had JARVIS control it for him.
"Oh no, someone's coming!"
Tony Stark heard footsteps outside and hurried back.
"What do we do?"
Yinsen steeled himself. "I'll buy you some time."
"No need, Yinsen."
Tony Stark grabbed him at once.
"What is it?"
"Look at the progress bar."
The upload, which had been crawling along, suddenly shot to completion.
The Iron Man Suit even moved on
