"He escaped?"
Merlin rampaged like an ancient behemoth, crushing every guard in his path. By now, even the sight of him filled the guards with dread.
With his current terrifying destructive power, Merlin could easily destroy an entire city.
"You won't get away!"
Merlin narrowed his eyes slightly, then pushed off hard with both feet. His enormous body shot forward in an instant. He charged recklessly, smashing into whatever lay ahead. Nothing could stop him.
Such a brutal pursuit was terrifying to behold. After this battle, the Giant Python Legion had utterly collapsed. With even Osato fleeing, the legion immediately fell apart.
"How are you feeling, little sister?"
The remarkably brave Mary finally rescued a girl who looked barely alive and was in a poor mental state. The girl was badly shaken, but fortunately, nothing serious had happened to her.
"That man is so strong. Who is he?"
Mary murmured under her breath. All she had noticed was Osato mentioning "Count Stanwen," so the man probably had some connection to the count.
"Let's go, little sister. We can leave while Xita City is in chaos."
Mary gazed intently into the distance. That figure had already been etched firmly into her memory.

The earth shook as an incomparably powerful beast crashed straight into a lake. Some of the beasts in the water were crushed into pulp, and the entire lake reeked of blood.
"You madman! You've been hunting me for twenty-eight days! You madman, how much longer are you going to keep this up?"
An enormous golden python suddenly leaped out of the lake, his bloodshot eyes brimming with boundless fury. This golden python was none other than Osato, who had been fleeing ever since leaving Xita City.
