"Should we force our way in or not?"
Both of them hesitated. After all, this tower had been left behind by a Supreme Existence. There might be hidden methods within it, and there was certainly some danger.
But if they did not press on, the two of them would likely regret it for the rest of their lives.
"Press on! This is a heaven-sent opportunity. It was left behind by a Supreme Existence before death—there must be something extraordinary here!"
In the end, Merlin and Maya reached an agreement and decided to force their way through. The temptation was simply too great. In the current Void Realm, Supreme Existences stood high above all others; it was simply impossible for them to die.
Even ordinary Legends possessed undying Laws—if the Laws remained, the Legends would not perish. Let alone Supreme Existences? Thus, Merlin and Maya found it difficult to imagine what kind of power could kill even a Supreme Existence.
However, what truly gave them the courage to entertain such bold thoughts was the purple monster puppet that had appeared on the first floor of the tower. Though its aura was powerful, it merely rivaled an ordinary Legend and posed no threat at all to either Merlin or Maya.
"Attack!"
Maya struck instantly. A vast golden river came crushing down. He did not hold back in the slightest, directly unleashing his strongest power—power comparable to a Titled Legend—as it savagely crushed the purple monster puppet. At once, the puppet's body, made of some unknown material, was completely shattered into fragments.
"Crack, crack."
This purple monster puppet had not even the slightest ability to resist before Maya crushed it into pieces. Merlin even carefully swept the area with Mental Power, confirming that there was indeed no trace left of the purple monster
