All remained peaceful aboard the Hope Ship. No matter how fiercely the black cat Didimos fought the seemingly endless fleet outside, the tranquility aboard the ship remained undisturbed.
Although Merlin had already entered the Hope Ship, he had not slaughtered its people. There was simply no need. His illusory world could draw everyone here into an illusion or bring their minds under his control.
The only exceptions were the elders who held supreme authority!
But their time was almost up. Merlin had largely pinpointed their whereabouts and knew they were hiding inside the Crystal Wall.
Whoosh.
A light breeze swept past, and Merlin arrived before the Crystal Wall. The enormous wall looked crystal clear and was almost larger than even the most massive Plane-Class Warship.
Moreover, the Crystal Wall was densely inscribed with writing in a very unusual script. It belonged to the Remnant Clan, and Merlin could not understand it. Perhaps Rom would be able to decipher these inscriptions.
The inscriptions on the Crystal Wall were likely the wealth of knowledge left by the Remnant Clan. They had allowed the Atlan Civilization to develop rapidly and even given it the strength to invade other civilizations in the Void Realm.
Merlin took a deep breath, and the Flame Law surrounding him transformed into an enormous fireball.
"Go!"
Merlin pointed, and the enormous fireball hurtled straight toward the crystal-clear wall. Though it was covered in the Remnant Clan's knowledge-knowledge capable of guiding a civilization to rival any in the Void Realm-to Merlin, it was a source of calamity. If it was destroyed, so be it. There was nothing to regret.
Since arriving in the Atlan Plane, Merlin had gained a deeper understanding of the Atlan Civilization. Several intelligent civilizations had actually arisen within the Atlan Plane before.
However, none of those
