"Why hasn't Seventh Prince Pax come?"
Orsted looked at the king.
"He's probably still asleep in his room. I'll take some men to hurry him along myself."
Cold sweat broke out on the king's forehead as he saw the Dragon God suddenly turn serious. So this was about the seventh prince? That good-for-nothing among good-for-nothings?
"No need."
Orsted headed for Pax's room with Cain. Benedict King Dragon—the princess they had brought with them—accompanied them.
"Will this plan work?"

Cain spread his hands and gave Benedict King Dragon, who stood beside him with her lips pressed together, a faint smile.
"Don't be afraid. We mean you no harm."
Benedict King Dragon nodded slightly, twisting her small hands together.
"Heh heh heh. You two wouldn't want to never see your family again, would you? Then put on these outfits, Aisha, Lilia. There'll be consequences if you don't listen to this prince."
They had only just reached Pax's door when Cain heard the voice inside. A vein throbbed in his forehead. What a line for a villain. So the prince who would one day become a wise ruler really had been a scumbag as a child.
Bang! Cain kicked the ornate wooden door, sending it flying off its hinges!
"Wh-who's there? Aaaah! D-don't grab my head! It's going to burst!"
Cain seized Pax by the head with one hand and lifted him off the floor. He immediately set about correcting his behavior with his fists. After only a few punches, the prince passed out, his face swollen like a pig's.
Aisha and Lilia huddled together inside the room, terrified. Honestly, if Orsted hadn't told Cain what the future held, he would have killed the prince.
"You... you're..."
Cain looked at Aisha's purple-red hair and the little fang at the corner
