Background / History

Orsted has repeatedly relived the period between Armored Dragon Calendar 330 and 530 through a secret technique bestowed by the First Dragon God. The cycle resets if he fails to defeat the Human God; he stopped counting after more than one hundred loops. The technique conceals his fate from the Human God, but its cost is the Curse Hated by All Things. 130

His curse makes living beings instinctively fear and reject him, leaving him isolated through his previous loops. It also accompanies an extreme restriction on mana recovery: once he expends mana, it recovers at roughly one-thousandth a normal mage's rate. 92 130
