That evening, Cain met Roxy outside the Magic University to walk her home. As they passed an inn, he spotted Rudeus and Sylphiette emerging from its entrance with flushed faces.
"So that's why neither of them came to magic class today!"
Cain could feel Roxy's grip tighten around his arm. Her gaze turned stern at once.
She was clearly unhappy that the two had skipped class to spend time at an inn.
Honestly! Rudeus must have led Sylphiette astray. Sylphiette never used to skip class. She was such a model student!
