"The Magic Transfer Labyrinth? I remember reading about it in a book at the Magic University."
Inside the Adventurers' Guild, everyone discussed how to tackle the labyrinth. Roxy looked at the map Keith had drawn and nodded slightly.
Paul's eyes lit up.
"So Roxy knows about the Teleportation Labyrinth?!"
Feeling everyone's eyes on her, Roxy pressed her lips together and unconsciously took Cain's hand. The smile on the black-haired boy's face reassured her, and she recalled what she had read.
"I remember the book saying that the Teleportation Labyrinth has lots of teleportation traps. Teleportation Magic Circles also appear between its major levels, and you have to enter the right circle to reach the next one."
Roxy's expression grew a little more serious as she looked at everyone before her, tightening her grip on Cain's hand.
"But if you choose the wrong one and fall into a trap, your chances of surviving are slim. The greatest danger in this kind of labyrinth isn't the number of monsters, but the Teleportation Magic Circles and teleportation traps. That's why you need a mage who knows magic circles very well to come along."
Over her years at the Magic University, Roxy had worked her way through most of its library. She was particularly fond of books about labyrinths and knew every book on the subject in the university's collection.
Everyone fell silent at her words, however.
A mage specializing in magic circles... We don't have one of those in our party...
Cain, Roxy, and Rudeus were all mages accustomed to incantation-based magic. Their party really didn't have a Magic Circle Mage, the sort that had once been popular but was now nearly obsolete.
Cain pondered this for a moment, then looked at Rujierd. Meeting his gaze, Rujierd gave a slight nod.
Seeing the
