Idle Talk During Battle (Mi)

"Hey! Wake up! Where did you hide my watch?"

I nudged Flow's helmet with my toe. It took him quite a while to come to his senses, and he stared at me with a dazed look in his eyes.

"Kn-knight lady?"

He groggily opened his eyes, then stared hard at my feet and thighs. Considering his perspective from the ground...

"You're as rude as ever."

Holding down my skirt, I took several steps back and asked:

"Where's my watch? Where did you put it?"

"Oh, here."

He opened the front plate of his armor, pulled out the Present Moment pocket watch, and handed it to me.

It was still hot when I took it. After fighting me, he had been lying there cooling off until now.

"What is it?"

As he asked that, Ceruno popped out from behind me and shouted:

"The Annihilation Bomb is coming!"

At the dangerous words "Annihilation Bomb," Flow sprang up from the ground. He looked at the storm of missiles slowly approaching from the western sky, his expression turning grave.

"This is bad."

"You think? But you're inside Ceruno's bubble, and I've sped it up too, so we're safe for now."

Though that "for now" would not last long.

He nodded somewhat blankly, then asked:

"What are you going to do?"

"What a pointless question. Of course, we'll do everything we can to survive... Ceruno, get ready to move."

But Ceruno looked worried when I said that.

"Miluno, I have Miss Terra's support, so I can keep the bubble up for a while... but can your magic power hold out? You've been fighting this whole time, haven't you?"

She was worrying about me again.

Had I become unreliable in her eyes too?

I rubbed her blue-haired head and explained:

"Don't worry. You're not the
