Ten Draws

Edward rubbed his hands together, his face wearing a devout expression as though he were about to perform a sacred ritual.

"Before a draw, one must bathe, change clothes, fast, and calm the mind!"

Edward muttered under his breath. This was mystical wisdom he had summed up from reading novels in his previous life.

It might not necessarily work, but psychological comfort was always a good thing.

Edward's expression froze.

The corner of his eye twitched.

What the hell was this supposed to be?

Edward was completely speechless.

Intense joy crashed into his mind, leaving him with an unreal feeling.

He stared fixedly at the final slot, which was still spinning.

He had already drawn the Ox Talisman and the Gourmet Tablecloth. Even if the final slot gave him nothing, he would accept it.

However, when the final slot stopped, it erupted with a brilliant golden radiance, brighter than all the previous ones.

An orange-yellow glass sphere engraved with a red five-pointed star lay quietly in the center of the slot.

Edward was stunned.

He looked at the Dragon Ball on the system panel, then at the Ox Talisman and Gourmet Tablecloth, before fiercely pinching his thigh.

"Hiss—"

It really hurt!

This was not a dream!

It was all real!

"Haha... Hahahaha!"

Edward could no longer hold it in and let out a suppressed, excited laugh.

Edward immediately wanted to test these abilities. Looking at his bed, he raised both hands and effortlessly lifted it.

Then came the Holy Light. Edward's entire body faintly glowed. All right, it was pretty intimidating.

As for Purification, he would find Lily later to test it. She had seemed strange lately, and her grades had dropped quite a bit.
