Ten Consecutive Draws

Edward rubbed his hands together, an expression of piety on his face as though he were about to perform a sacred ritual.

"Before drawing, one must bathe, change clothes, fast, and purify the mind!"

Edward muttered under his breath. This was mystical wisdom he had gleaned from reading novels in his previous life.

It might not necessarily work, but it was always good for peace of mind.

He walked into the bathroom attached to the room, turned on the faucet, and hot water came rushing down.

The rising steam quickly blurred the mirror, as well as Edward's face.

Seeing that the coin count had finally reached "1000," Edward's eyes burned with excitement.

Before he could finish complaining, the second slot stopped as well.

Edward's expression froze.

The corner of his eye twitched.

What the hell was this supposed to be?

Did the system think he needed this?

The third slot stopped immediately afterward.

Edward was completely speechless.

Edward's mouth slowly fell open.

Th-this wasn't that blue robotic cat's gadget, was it?!

This draw was totally worth it!

He was so excited that he nearly jumped out of his chair.

The ninth slot stopped, its light even more dazzling and vaguely carrying a heavy, imposing aura.

[Ox Talisman]: One of the twelve talismans. Its holder will gain infinite strength.

Edward's mind buzzed.

The Ox Talisman!

It was actually the Ox Talisman!

The talisman that represented strength!

His breathing became rapid, and his face flushed red from the rush of blood.

The intense joy crashed into his mind, making everything feel unreal.

He stared fixedly at the final slot, which was still spinning.

He had already pulled the Ox Talisman and the Gourmet Tablecloth. Even if the final slot gave him nothing, he would accept it.

However, when the final slot stopped, it erupted in brilliant golden light, brighter than anything before it.

An orange-yellow glass sphere engraved with a red five-pointed star lay quietly in the center of the slot.

[One-Star Dragon Ball]: A Dragon Ball from another world. Gather all seven to summon Shenron and grant any wish (probably).

Edward froze.

He looked at the Dragon Ball on the system panel, then at the Ox Talisman and Gourmet Tablecloth, before fiercely pinching his own thigh.

"Hiss—"

It really hurt!

This was not a dream!

It was all real!

"Ha... Hahahaha!"

Edward could no longer hold it in and let out a suppressed, excited laugh.

Then Edward wanted to test these abilities. Looking at his bed, he raised both hands and effortlessly lifted it.

Then came the holy light. Edward's body faintly glowed. All right, it looked pretty intimidating.

As for Purification, he could try it on Lily later. She had seemed strange lately, and her grades had dropped quite a bit.
