Background / History

Huo Yuhao initially escapes the White Tiger Duke Mansion alone and fights a Wind Baboon in the Star Dou Great Forest for his first Soul Ring. Although the God of Destruction identifies him as a child of destiny watched over by Tang San’s Asura divine sense, Ye Fan intercepts the million-year Tianmeng Ice Silkworm and Elex—opportunities originally intended for Huo—before either can enter him 1 3 4.

After surviving the Wind Baboon encounter, Huo Yuhao absorbs its ten-year Soul Ring and sincerely thanks Ye Fan, Jing Hongchen, Xiao Hongchen, and Meng Hongchen for guarding him. He describes himself as an orphan and accepts Ye Fan’s advice to seek the Body Sect because of his eye-type martial soul, but eventually joins Shrek Academy instead 5 32 33.

A year later, Huo reunites warmly with Ye Fan at the Continental Soul Master Tournament, still calling him “benefactor.” Their relationship deteriorates when they lead opposing teams in the finals: Huo chooses Shrek and resolves to defeat Ye Fan for his mother’s sake, despite his earlier gratitude 32 53.

Huo becomes Shrek’s principal tactician during the final. He coordinates the Six-in-One Fusion Technique, combines it with Wang Dong’s martial soul fusion skill, and uses spatial abilities to redirect enemy attacks. Ye Fan ultimately defeats him when their spatial powers clash, injuring Huo’s Spirit Eyes and forcing Wang Dong to concede 54 55 57.

By the time Shrek challenges the Sun Moon Royal Soul Engineering Academy again, Huo has become colder and more withdrawn. Though conflicted about facing Ye Fan, he focuses solely on winning 70 77.

Personality

Huo Yuhao is initially sincere, grateful, and emotionally vulnerable. He thanks those who protect him, speaks openly of his loneliness, and regards Ye Fan as a benefactor after the Star Dou Great Forest incident 5 32.

His loyalty to his mother outweighs that debt. In the tournament final, he apologizes to Ye Fan but refuses to abandon Shrek’s cause, showing determination even when their former connection makes the fight painful 53 55.

As Shrek’s battles intensify, Huo proves calm under pressure and capable of commanding stronger teammates. Following Ma Xiaotao’s withdrawal, the other Shrek members defer to his judgment and execute his fusion-technique plan 54. Later, his demeanor changes into a cold, isolated resolve centered on victory 70.
