Background / History

Qian Daoliu was born with the Six-Winged Angel, a God-Given Martial Soul, and innate Level 20 Soul Power. The Angel God’s Supreme Eight Trials selected him as a High Priest rather than a successor: he could serve the Angel inheritance, but was destined to sacrifice his life for the next deity and could not ordinarily become a god himself. 55

As a young Soul Douluo, he travelled with Clear Sky Sect prodigy Tang Chen. The two later visited Sea God Island, where they met Sea God High Priestess Bo Saixi and formed a long-standing rivalry. Qian Daoliu and Tang Chen fought for three days and nights atop Clear Sky Peak; the battle ended in a draw, but Qian Daoliu considered himself spiritually defeated because Tang Chen had forged comparable strength without divine inheritance or Wuhun Hall’s resources. 50 56

After reaching Level 99, Qian Daoliu hosted Wuhun Hall’s Seven Great Sects Ranking Tournament in Falling Star Valley. The event was intended to stabilize a continent fractured by constant warfare, but Tang Chen’s overwhelming presence forced Wuhun Hall to concede Clear Sky Sect’s first-place standing. 27 28 30

His son, Qian Xunji, was gravely wounded by Tang Hao and later killed and devoured by Bibi Dong in the Papal Hall. Golden Crocodile Douluo attempted to avenge Qian Xunji, but Qian Daoliu stopped him because he could not bear for nine-year-old Qian Renxue to lose both parents in one day. 41 45

Qian Daoliu is an aged but imposing man with long golden hair, a solemn expression, and the bearing of a high priest. When he releases his Martial Soul, a gigantic Six-Winged Angel phantom manifests behind him, accompanied by sacred golden radiance. 54

Personality

Qian Daoliu is intensely devout toward the Angel God and Wuhun Hall’s ancient legacy. When Qian Yuhan manifested through the Angel God Statue, he immediately knelt, accepted her orders without hesitation, and mobilized Wuhun Hall’s intelligence network to locate Lan Yu. 5

He is pragmatic to the point of ruthlessness when he believes Wuhun Hall’s survival is at stake. He defended Qian Xunji’s decision to prevent Bibi Dong from leaving the organization, and initially judged his son’s fatal mistake to be leaving Bibi Dong alive afterward. 38 40

Despite this severity, Qian Daoliu’s deepest attachment is to Qian Renxue. He spared Bibi Dong after Qian Xunji’s murder solely to preserve Renxue’s remaining connection to a mother, and later abandoned all composure when reunited with his granddaughter. 45 216

Lan Yu’s Return

Qian Daoliu first receives Qian Yuhan’s warning that the Ranking Screen has cut off the God Realm’s interference with the lower realm. He is ordered to keep Wuhun Hall calm, locate Lan Yu, and treat him with the highest respect. 5

Following Qian Yuhan’s instructions, he enters the sealed chamber beneath Douluo Hall and unlocks the Blue Silver Emperor God Statue. The statue reveals that Lan Yu founded Wuhun Hall with Qian Yuhan twenty thousand years earlier and is the progenitor of the Angel Clan’s hidden Blue Silver Emperor lineage. 6

Conflict with Bibi Dong

The Ranking Screen publicly reveals Qian Xunji’s death and Bibi Dong’s Rakshasa God Trial. Qian Daoliu initially attempts to lead the Consecration Hall against her, but Golden Crocodile persuades him that a civil war would endanger Qian Renxue and destroy Wuhun Hall’s stability. 40 41

He later learns that his decision to spare Bibi Dong after Qian Xunji’s murder was motivated by his fear that Renxue would otherwise become a complete orphan. 45

Ranking Reward and Demigod Breakthrough

The Ranking Screen places Qian Daoliu third among the Ten Peak Soul Masters, identifying him as Wuhun Hall’s Great Elder, Angel Temple High Priest, and master of Douluo Hall. 54

The subsequent reward revives the Qian Clan’s sealed Blue Silver Emperor bloodline within him. He awakens the Blue Silver Emperor Martial Soul, regains his youth and vitality, and breaks into the True Demigod realm. 58

Qian Renxue’s Rescue

When Qian Renxue’s Blue Silver Emperor awakening exposes her identity in Heaven Dou City, Qian Daoliu leads Golden Crocodile, Azure Luan, and Light Feather to retrieve her. He crushes the siege around the Eastern Palace with Demigod pressure and tells her to return home with him. 60

Service to the Blue Ancestor

After Lan Yu separates Lan Xue’s true spirit from Qian Renxue and purifies Renxue’s body, Qian Daoliu recognizes Lan Yu in person as the Blue Ancestor. He and the other Consecrators kneel before Lan Yu and Lan Xue. 215
