The Unity of Man and Heaven Realm is a nine-level Great Grandmaster realm defined by bearing and wielding the power of heaven and earth through a Martial Dao Spirit. Its practitioners can perceive and draw upon the world’s vital energies far beyond the limits of ordinary Artistic Conception techniques. 76 91

A cultivator who reaches this realm may manifest Heaven and Earth Phenomena. These phenomena reflect potential and substantially strengthen combat power; a breakthrough with even one phenomenon is considered extraordinary, while Zhou Qing manifests five upon entering the realm. 90

Requirements and Breakthrough

A true breakthrough requires the gestation of a Martial Dao Spirit. When the spirit first bears the power of heaven and earth, Heaven and Earth Phenomena may descend as recognition from heaven and earth. 89

A Great Grandmaster’s Martial Dao Spirit enables union with heaven and earth, granting vastly heightened perception and command of surrounding energies.

Heaven and Earth Phenomena

Heaven and Earth Phenomena are manifestations accompanying exceptional Unity of Man and Heaven Realm cultivators.

• Each phenomenon enhances combat power and indicates exceptional potential. 90
• Cultivators who form only a True Core and possess no phenomena can mobilize only rudimentary heavenly power; they are regarded as pseudo-Unity Realm experts. 90
• Nine phenomena are described as the usual limit within the realm; Zhou Qing breaks this limit by reaching twelve at the ninth level. 111
• At the Dao Law Realm, each Heaven and Earth Phenomenon transforms into a Dao Rhythm Phenomenon and can serve as the foundation for a Cave Heaven. 116 117

Primordial Spirit

At the fourth through sixth levels, a cultivator’s mind and Martial Dao Spirit merge into a Primordial Spirit. 95

• The Primordial Spirit can leave a destroyed physical body and roam heaven and earth for a limited time. 95
• Without a suitable vessel, its power gradually dissipates. 95
• Reincarnation through an unborn infant allows the Primordial Spirit and new body to align during gestation. 95

Unity Realm Body

At the seventh through ninth levels, the Primordial Spirit and physical body become one. 95

• The body gains an initial form of immortality. 95
• It can transform into energy-like forms, including thunder, flames, and flowing water. 95
• A body destroyed into dust can recover so long as it has not been completely annihilated. 113

• Unity with heaven and earth cannot be maintained indefinitely; remaining in the state too long risks assimilation by heaven and earth and loss of self. 76 91
