History

In the ancient era, a Demon Saint breached the passage between the Demon Realm and the Mountain Sea Realm. The Land of the Saints created the World Cauldron to suppress the passage and isolate the invading demons. The cauldron continuously absorbed the realm’s power to maintain the seal, causing its spiritual energy to decline over time. 81

The depletion of spiritual energy reduced the number of spiritual materials and made high-level cultivation increasingly difficult. The Mountain Sea Realm gradually lost contact with the Land of the Saints; eventually, even reaching the Dao Law Realm became nearly impossible. 81

Li Xuantong and the Demon Saint later weakened the World Cauldron’s suppression, opening a spatial crack through which demons below the seventh level of the Unity of Man and Heaven Realm could enter. 90 National destiny was capable of shaking the World Cauldron, while demons that touched it would be crushed by its connection to the entire realm. 93

After Zhou Qing departed for the Land of the Saints, demon-controlled forces used a blood sacrifice to corrupt the national destiny attached to the World Cauldron. Within four years, demons had occupied most of the Mountain Sea Realm. 119

Zhou Qing returned as a Half-Saint and annihilated every demon in the realm with a single thought. He then refined the World Cauldron, connected to the World Origin, and repaired the spatial rift to prevent further demon descents. 120 121 After a month of refinement, he became the Mountain Sea Realm’s World Lord. 121

World Origin and World Lord

The World Cauldron was formed from a portion of the Mountain Sea Realm’s Origin. As a native-born Half-Saint, Zhou Qing was accepted by the realm’s Origin and refined the cauldron without resistance. 120 121

Refining the World Origin grants Saint-level combat power only within the refined world. A World Lord is immortal and indestructible within their own realm, but reverts to Half-Saint strength upon leaving it. 121

Once Zhou Qing refined the World Cauldron, it no longer needed to draw on the realm’s spiritual energy. The Mountain Sea Realm entered a broad spiritual-energy resurgence. 122
