Background / History

Huang Yi'an was assigned as one of the three original instructors of the newly established Qianshan Class alongside Wang Zheng and Zhao Xinxuan. While Wang Zheng served as homeroom teacher at the time, Huang helped oversee the thirty students drawn from Qianshan No. 1 and No. 2 High Schools. 24 26

From the outset, he regarded the lower Blood Qi Values of the Second High School students—especially Su Yuan—with suspicion. Although he initially accepted that the ten Second High School placements could not be changed, he indicated that students unable to keep up could be dealt with later. 25

During Frost-Ice Stone passage training, Huang repeatedly predicted that Su Yuan would collapse and suspected him of secretly using an Intermediate Recovery Potion when he continued improving through exhaustion. Wang Zheng directly rebuked Huang for openly disparaging Second High School students. 27

After Su Yuan completed the five passage round trips first, Huang publicly accused him of using a recovery potion. He escalated the accusation by proposing an Astral Qi examination despite the danger it posed to an Uninitiated Martial Artist. Pei Xuan stopped the examination, and Su Yuan subsequently produced a 699 kg punch—enough to establish his exceptional talent and force Huang to acknowledge that Su Yuan had not cheated. 28 29 31

While supervising the Frost-Ice Stone passage, Huang doubts Su Yuan's endurance from the first round trip onward. After Su Yuan finishes the warm-up first without taking a recovery potion, Huang publicly accuses him of cheating. 27 28

The confrontation becomes a public dispute when Su Yuan demands evidence. Huang agrees to pay two million Xia currency if an Astral Qi inspection finds no recovery-potion residue, but Pei Xuan returns before the inspection begins and redirects the matter into a punching-strength test. 29 30

Public Defeat and Fine

Su Yuan's 699 kg punch proves that his physical ability far exceeds what Huang believed possible at 78.5 Blood Qi.
