A Long-Overdue Meeting

The pitch-black night passed, and the sun rose again. Because of last night's shower, Shrimp Chaser and the others had been drenched like drowned rats.

After a long journey and walking through the night, they finally reached their destination.

"Brother Shrimp, is that Jiangbei City up ahead?"

a Zombie Underling asked.

Shrimp Chaser swept his gaze over the area. Ahead stood a towering city. Though it was in ruins, skyscrapers still lined its streets.

"Should be. Let's go in and take a look."

They cautiously made their way toward the edge of the city. Though it was a mess here, it was far better than Coastal City.

There were quite a few Low-Tier Zombies wandering the streets, dull-witted and rotten-faced.

Even when they spotted Shrimp Chaser, they did not attack.

"I wonder what the boss's territory is like. How many powerful Zombie Kings are there?" one underling asked curiously.

Shrimp Chaser answered without hesitation.

"It must be very powerful."

But as soon as he spoke, they saw a zombie ahead with its ear pressed to the ground, rear in the air, legs kicking as it hurried toward them.

"Huh? What is that thing?"

The Zombie Underlings looked curious.

Shrimp Chaser was equally stunned and watched quietly.

As Flared Ears approached, he lifted his ear and fixed them with suspicious, wary eyes.

Only then did Shrimp Chaser and the others realize that he was also a zombie...

After sizing them up for a moment, Flared Ears questioned them.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?"

"We came to find the boss. May I ask... are you the Zombie King guarding the outskirts?"

Shrimp Chaser asked politely.

At that, Flared Ears' eyes widened.

"Good eye, brother. You actually figured it out. I'm the boss's top lieutenant. Everything around the edge of
