Feint East, Strike West

Lin Dong had originally wanted to slack off for a few more days, but now that the humans had gone to Coastal City, they would probably make a move before long.

However, Lin Dong had no idea exactly when they would act, so he could only wait at home. The feeling... was like waiting for a delivery.

Over the following days, everything in Lin Dong's territory remained normal.

Nothing unusual happened.

Until one evening, when the setting sun was blood-red, blanketing the earth. The river shimmered, reflecting an eerie crimson glow.

A ferocious zombie roar exploded from North Mountain, startling flocks of birds into shrill flight.

"What was that sound?"

Flowerpot, guarding the river bridge, emerged from the tall grass and looked toward the lush North Mountain. It seemed that something was about to cross the mountain.

Clearly, Azure Scale and the others had made their move.

Azure Scale had sent a group of zombies to launch a feint. The goal was to lure Lin Dong out, then have the human squad cut in from the rear and hunt down his Zombie Kings or zombies, truly feinting east and striking west.

Their plan was calculated to perfection!

However, the zombies assigned to lure Lin Dong out were naturally in the greatest danger. Therefore, Azure Scale had not come personally, instead sending one of his capable subordinates, Brute Lizard, along with several Zombie Mermaids.

Brute Lizard was a fusion of a zombie and a mutated sea iguana. He stood nearly three meters tall, with knotted muscles all over his body and an immensely powerful build.

His skin was dark green, his mouth protruded forward, and his fangs were bared. The tongue he flicked out was long and slender like a lizard's, blackish-purple in color.

Brute Lizard was famous for his ferocity.
